I drove 4 1/2 hours. I enjoyed going to Tony's, but what I really went for was to meet family that I will be spending eternity with.

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to send a note and let you know how I'm doing….First let me
say thanks for all the hundreds of emails with well wishes and
concerns…I do appreciate your prayers! I'm sorry that I can't answer
every email personally but I'm sure that you understand.
I am starting to get my strength and breath back….It's just a very
slow process! I can't believe that I have actually had to stay in
this long! I miss being at the restaurant and seeing everyone….I also
missed singing this past week. I have all intentions of singing this
week….it will still depend on what the doctor says on Monday…but, I
think I will be fine to sing by Wednesday….pray that I will be.
I'm still off work at the restaurant….I just don't have the breath
for it yet.
I heard from the realtor in AL and things are starting to move a
little down there…she has shown my house several times in the past
few weeks….so PLEASE PRAY!!!! I would LOVE to sell it!

Just got home from rook night at Tony's. He was back at the restaurant. Not totally better, but well enough to work. We all said a prayer for Kirk Talley and his sinus surgery tomorrow. Someone mentioned that we should get o picture of him with his broken nose.

Nope, wasn't me. I pretty much stay away from restautants these days. Except Tony's of course.

The doc said that he was amazed at my improvments in just a week….he
said that most people that was as sick as I was usually ended up in
the hospital! But…he said that I other than a little shortness of
breath…I would be fine to sing this week! So, we are getting ready

Surgery update Tuesday evening, April 2
Kirk Talley

Just wanted to update you on the surgery. I didn't feel a thing! I laid down on the operating table, and they knocked me out, and the next thing I knew......I was waking up 4 hours later! Yesterday afternoon, I left the Surgical Center a little drowsy, and a little sore, but in pretty good shape.
My doctor, Dr Dave Edwards, ( Not the Breakfast Club Dave Edwards) and his wife Mona, have been so kind and gracious. They invited me to stay with them for a few days so that Dave could keep an eye on my progress. Today I was still a little drowsy, so I took it easy, napped some, and started the irrigation process. Karo Syrup, Baking Soda, Salt and Warm Water up my nose 5 times a day......not a pretty sight!
They told me not to sneeze or blow my nose......BLOW MY NOSE?????? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL When he said that, I immediately thought of the newsletter a few weeks ago....and how a few would gloat and say I was getting Payback! So I decided, I wouldn't go out in public until the swelling has gone down and there is not a need to blow my nose!
I go back to the Dr Office in the morning for the first real cleaning process, I hear that will be painful but I am looking forward to having it all behind me and getting home. I won't be singing for a few weeks, so I will have plenty of time to recover.

If you folks had seen Tony & Majesty the way I did tonight, you'd never have believed that Tony had even been sick!!! They were AWESOME, even Chris Freeman hit the stage with them at the end........!!!! BTW Santa, T said HEY! LOL................
