Daniel, not sure I understand your post. I did hit delete and it is completely gone from my screen.
I should have paid more attention to what it said but was trying to make anyone in this area aware what was happening.

Okay! Now I get it. You made the other post separately.

I just wanted to mention that possibility in case you thought that editing a post was the only way to remove unwanted comments.

Well, I just had some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Tony brought some pork, baked beans, cole slaw and pecan pie by the station for lunch today. I haven't been to his restaurant yet, but I'll definitely be there in the near future.

I also heard from someone who had been there that, as good as the pulled pork is, the ribs are that much and more. Being a rib lover myself, that's good news!

If you're in the Knoxville/Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, be sure and see Tony Gore and Majesty in concert Saturday night (5/5) at the New Hope Church, on Hiway 66 in Sevierville. And the good news is: Tony is opening the restaurant after the concert...in his words..."open till ???"

Mike

I heard you talking about it just a while ago.

He also said that the restaurant would be open seven days a week starting next week.

Good post Mike. Tony and Majesty did a great job tonight at the Mull concert. He actually closed the resaturant so his employees could attend the concert. And then they were opening the restaurant after the concert. We got out of concert rather quickly after the last song and as we passed by the restaurant there were already a lot of cars in the parking lot. The restaurant is on 1 1/2 miles south of the New Hope Church where the concert was tonight.
And I understand Lulu Roman (Hee Haw) will be eating at the restaurant Sunday afternoon as she comes back thru the area.

Santa,

I have a friend that is coming to the Gaither family fest in Gatlinburg. I told him to make sure he ate at Toneys and to look you up. I hope you don't mind.

You don't want him to look me up?

After all, I'm the one who will be there.

He better eat at Tonys on the way in or out, because traffic is extremely heavy from Gatlinburg to Sevierville.

Actually he has a cabin in Sevierville he will be staying in. Yes I also told him about you. I told him if anything happened and he found himself in need of a good lawyer to call you. I also told him to keep one hand on his wallet.

Santa I'm not sure if he is renting or if he actually owns a cabin. His name is Robert Stephens if you want to check. He will have a Millbrook address I think.

I will be at work tomorrow and try to remember to check on that.
Kerlaw is right about eating before getting to Gatlinburg. And can't beat Tony's for sure.

Tony has put together an awesome menu for Mother's Day at his restaurant. If you are in the area, stop in and tell him you heard about this on the Forum.

I am SOOOOOO excited about Mothers Day here at Smoky Mountain BBQ! If
your planning on taking MOM out for her special day….listen to this

Mrs. C. and I had lunch at T's BBQ today. Once again the food was great and the place was packed. Even met Tony's grandmother. Would you believe he had her fixing a banana pudding. But you could tell she was enjoying doing that for him and when we left half of it was gone already and no, Mrs. C. or I either one ate any of it. Sure did want to though.
Tony was VERY generous with what I am putting together to send to Godsgotanarmy on Monday. Thanks Tony so much.
Tony told me he is planning to have another Prime Rib special soon. He said it was AWESOME last week.
Glad to see so many people stopping by. I heard one customer telling Tony how much he liked the food and was sure glad they stopped in.
Well, hope to see YOU soon at T's. God Bless,
Santa

Well, I may have to quit telling you people about Tony's BBQ. Just kidding. It was packed out again today. Even standing or sitting on the porch waiting to be seated. 8 of us went after church today.
Today I had the Grilled Chicken Salad and Mrs. C. had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Both were very good. As a matter of fact, I had to get a "Go" box for part of my salad and had it for supper here at work tonight. Others had Pigs Wings, Shrimp, BBQ, Etc. All was good.
So glad to see it going well for Tony. He catered to a group at Hidden Mountains Clubhouse on Friday night.
Looking for you soon at T's. God Bless,
Santa

Wow! Three days in a row to eat at T's BBQ. His grandmother still there making Banana Puddings. At least 6 in 3 days.
Mrs. C. and I had relatives in town so we took them to T's and they really enjoyed the food. We left before the Rook games started. Had our Skip-Bo cards with us but they are getting a later start with the card games now that the days are longer. So we will have to go back sometime to get in on the games.
Tony is open 7 days a week now. So come see him.

You know, these reports ae starting to border on mental cruelty (JK!!) to those of us who have little or no chance to ever experience this for ourselves.

There are over 1000 restaurants in the Baton Rouge area. Only one has any semblance of decent BBQ, none I know of feature ROOK games (I was once considered quite good during my college days). I have yet to find edible 'nanner puddin' and less than 1/2 of those restaurants serve sweet tea. I feel like an exile (or maybe a missionary?).

Singloud, sounds as if it is time for a vacation to the Smoky Mtns. and to T's BBQ for several meals while in the area. You can go there everyday and still eat something different each time. So start packing. There are several GOOD BBQ restaurants in the area but we really like Tony's BEST!

We vacationed in PF for several years in the 90s. It was a good stopping-off point on our way from CT to AL, on our annual pilgrimage to God's country to visit family. We really enjoyed it, and want to go back (especially my wife). We are currently embarking on a new budget plan, which includes a vacation account. I think you have convinced us to save faster.

You would not believe the area now. Has changed a lot over the past few years. Mostly for the good, but traffic can be a headache at times. Lot of good family entertainment here.
Come see us when you can.

I know Tony will be looking for many of you that are coming to this area for a summer vacation. Can't beat the food, that is for sure. Go to page 2, post 39 of this thread to see T's Menu. A few changes have been made, but you can see he offers a lot of choices.

You just never know who you may run in to at Tony's BBQ. This is from T's latest newsletter:

Hello Everyone,
We are busy, busy here at the restaurant…We had lot's of visitors in for Memorial Day weekend….it was good to see many "familiar faces"!
Lulu Roman came by and had lunch on her way to New York City to record…it was so good to see her. The Galloways also stopped by on their way to PA and New York City…it is always good to see them.
There are several artist who have surprised us by coming by to eat:
Lulu Roman
Allison Durham Speer
The Galloways
Triumphant
The Blackwoods
Heirline
Christ Family
Eighth Day
Tribute Quartet
Kirk Talley
Gerron Davis
Jackie and Elaine Wilburn
Eternal Vision

I am sure I am forgetting someone....but I appreciate them all. It's
always a joy to see those buses pulling in the parking lot….most
restaurants panic when they see those buses…but I just think well,
there comes some "family".
