After the June 30th concert in Sevierville, there will be other names Tony can add to the list. Should be a good night to visit Tony's.

Robertyork, not sure you have your laptop with you on this trip to the area? Just wondering if you have been to Tony's BBQ as yet?

We just got in from Pigeon Forge. We went to Tony's Bar-B-Q Monday evening. Kirk was there along with Tony. We enjoyed the visit with them but most of all we enjoyed the meal. It was outstanding. Bar-B-Q was 10 +++++++, but if you haven't tried the fried yeast rolls, you must.
I ordered one with my plate. I got one little bite. Carol and Nancy consumed the rest of it. Had to order a half a dozen more just so I would get one. Had them for dessert with apple butter. Tony should have his new sign up later this week. You will not miss the place when you go down route 66 when he gets the sign up - Red, Black & Orange.

Thanks for the update, Robert. Was about to PM you to see if you got by there. I keep trying to tell the people how good the food is and you are right, the ROLLS are the best. And that Apple Butter just tops them off. May have to go get a half doxen rolls right now.

Mrs. C and I ate at Tony's BBQ today. Late lunch. Enjoyed it as usual. For the first time in a long time they were not busy when we got there but it picked up and was getting busy when we left.
Tony's new signs should be up this week. They were working on the one to be placed on top of the building today and hopefully will have it up this evening. The sign for near the street has not come in yet, but should be there soon. Should help people locate the restaurant easier.
Had a chance to talk to Tony a little about plans for "Christmas in the Smokies" coming up after Thanksgiving where Tony and Earl Galloway of the Galloway's do the cooking and then have a concert after the meal. Look for details here later.

Mrs. C and I will be eating with about 30-35 friends this evening at Tony's BBQ. Will get to see his new sign for the first time. Will let you know about it later this evening. Was told it has his picture on it.

I called Tony's last night about reservations and Tony said unless you have a party of 20 or more you don't need them, however they expect to be very busy Saturday afternoon and evening. He also told me he would not be there (I believe Santa had already mentioned that) but he would have Keith looking for us and taking good care of us all Saturday night.

He laughed when I told him according to the forums it was 'the place to eat'. He said - make sure you keep telling everyone that!

I think Billboy is planning a trip to Pigeon Forge the Last week of July. I am also planning a trip around the same time. Would anyone like to meet at Tony Gores for lunch one day during that time period? I'm sure Santa will maybe even the lawyer.

I will be there if it is not a Friday. Mrs. C. could not do a Wed. But 5 out of 7 choices ain't bad.
And lurking is not as much fun as jumping right in with the posting.

I'm not exactly jumping in; more like wading in slowly. Tony's new sign is up. Facing the southbound traffic is his picture. One of the Monday night rook players told him to take it down, it ruined his apppetite. I like it.

The cop would love the opportunity to meet you and Mrs. K and break bread or scarf down some ribs. I'll even try to be good. Well at least better.

Lawyer, Cop, Farmer and peace maker. That would be a sight to behold. Maybe it will work out.

Just returned from Tony's BBQ and Grill. Again good food. About 30 of used met for a surprise birthday party for our friend, Melinda Stinson. Her and her husband used to have the jewelry store in Dollywood, but now located at Old Mill in Pigeon Forge.
We had Clayton and Eric from Triumphant along with their wives and daughters in our group. Tony, Eric and Clayton led in singing Happy Birthday to Melinda.
The signage at Tony's is great. Street sign with Tony's picture and a big long sign on top of building. Mrs. C. took a photo but I do not know how to get it to show here. Daniel told me one time but I can't find the printout as to how to do it. If anyone will help me with it, I will post a link for the sign with Tony;s photo.
Good food, good fellowship, good friends. What more could one ask for.
Santa

It was already on the front page but at the bottom.
Will be meeting up with some poster friends shortly at T's BBQ today. Qtman is making lunch plans for late July when they are visiting the area.

Although Tony was in W. Virginia serving up BBQ and then singing on Sunday, the restaurant was quite busy yesterday (Sat) afternoon when we were there. Even had a waiting list. Tony has added many rocking chairs on the front porch so while you wait you can just rock away.
Still have not seen anyone that did not like the food.
Tony has a birthday coming up soon. Will let you know the date as soon as I verify it.
