My two-year old munchkin using her words more and more instead of screeching when she wants or doesn't want something. It makes me smile to see her grow and learn and knowing that I had something to do with that.

I keep smiling now..........as I think of the splendor of God's creation......how it reflects His glory.

Last Thursday I went to a beautiful, old church to pray. I love my church but there is something about being in an old church with stain glass windows..........it just feels right you know?

Anyway as I was singing praise to the Lord and praying my eyes kept being drawn to one pane of glass.

It was a red heart, round and full, resembling our hearts yet in a heart like shape(hard to describe)

Through the heart was an arrow........it's sharp point piercing the heart at entry and exit.

There were a few drops of blood mingled with tears.......

Now I know........what about the picture I am paining makes me smile.........

It was the roses circling the heart......forming a chain, not of metal and steel but of love........to me it spoke of how we are freed from the chains of hatred and the evil one......to instead be enslaved by the love of our Lord........the one who is love.

Like a pot full of good soil and seeds were flowers. Out of the top of the heart grew purple flowers......they grow in abundance, over flowing and covering parts of the heart, almost to the point the arrow and scared heart could no longer be seen......

As I looked at the heart on Thursday night I knew that was my passion.....something about the picture before me reflected the picture God was painting on my spirit.........

I didn't really understand what God was showing me till today.........

Now I see.........

And because I see I smile.

laptops are cool........you can be sitting outside under the moon and still be on cw. LOL

Has anyone looked at the moon tonight.......it is beautiful..

Walk outside......Take the time to look at the moon ...really see it.

On first glance it looks like almost a 3/4 moon...........nothing out of the ordinary.

But look again.........do you see it?

The sons reflection is so bright you can see it's whole form.......you can see the full moon if you look closely.

over half is dark........yet unrevealed.........yet the son's light is still making it known......we can see it yet we can't see it.......

Do you see the promises still hidden? Those waiting to be revealed?

Do you see how the hallow of light circles the whole thing.....not just the part which is already seen?

Tomorrow night, unless a storm comes to block it from our sight, the son will show us just a little bit more.........and each night onward he will reveal more and more until a full moon has come.....

And the storms which keep us from seeing more of what God is revealing.......those storms, fierce though they may be, they can't stop what God is doing.......they can't keep the son from revealing more and more of the moon until it is full.

I don't know what tomorrow holds.......neither do you.

But we do know the dreams, hopes, and plans God has planted on our hearts........though they are not clearly revealed we can see their shape....we know they are there waiting to be revealed.

A dark cloud has moved in..........I can see her blackness covering the moon.......

Only a small portion remains.........now none......

yet I know........I believe.........I trust that even though I can't see it now.....that dream, that hope, those plans will be one step closer to fullness tomorrow........

Sometimes a moonless night can be a little scary.......sometimes it makes you begin to wonder if the moon will come up tomorrow.........

yet I know........I know it doesn't depend on the moon........for the moon in itself has no light.........her shinning brightly tomorrow......more of her being revealed doesn't have anything to do with her......or with me.

No it has everything to do with the son....therefore I give him my hopes, dreams and plans......

Goodbye moon..........I will see you tomorrow

I'm smiling because I was able to find a patch for a very expensive software I recently purchased for school. I had been getting some strange error messages and tech support hadn't been able to help. Now I can get my work done! Yea!

Joy2.. I read your posts, I just don't take the time to say anything to you... (sorry for that)

1st, let me just say thank you for posting. You have such a wonderful way of putting thoughts down... forgive me if I'm just a tad bit jealous of your gift

2nd, today I needed just what you wrote!

You used the word promises -- I am going thru some trying times right now and oh how often I need to remind myself of the Lord's promises!

But today, I really needed the reminder of even tho things might appear dark thru storms or whatever it is -- the Lord is working in ways that we don't know and in His time the fullness will be revealed!

Thankyou for posting what is on your heart... you listened to the Lord and He used it to speak to me.

wow! God is good! Doesn't that just make you smile??

That often happens for me too, tlims - Joy posts something and it is just what I need to hear, I think God often uses her to speak to those that read her words!

..... can I still post here? or am I officially kicked out?

Watching the ducks scurry from one side of the pond to the other by land makes me smile... they are always in a hurry like they've got someplace to be right away... their waddling cracks me up...

I'm thankful for a little distraction...

LOL, never thought about posting in the marriage folder, hmmm. Well, now you have to face the reality that you are one of them.... Don't worry, maybe I'll see you there too, I figure what the heck- I used to be married... maybe someone can learn from my mistakes!

I am smiling because it is "swim night" with the most adorable grandbabies in the entire world . Now there may be other Grandma/pa's out there that think they have the most adorable grandkids, but I'm sure I'm right on this one (at least in this grandma's eyes!)...

I'm also smiling because I'll be on vacation after tomorow! For a whole 11 days!! WhooHoo.

I miss Joy too. Hopefully she'll hurry back!

When my mom was pregnant w/ me she ate bananas and popcorn...together!!!

Remembering my fave foods with Thing 1 makes me smile.

Dairy Queen banana split with a side of pickles (no joke!)

And fried chicken legs with a gallon of Coke.

I ate everything with Thing 2.
