I just can't believe this thread. Are you guys serious???? I mean, asking if it's a sin to buy groceries while wearing a blue shirt and driving past a gas station????? Get real!!! It's only a sin if you don't go to Super Walmart, where all good conservative Christians are supposed to shop!

I'm so ashamed of all of you mods. I'm simply speechless and beyond words. Stunned, flabbergasted and gobsmacked. I don't know what to say. I mean, I thought I was volunteering with normal people, now it's obvious all you other mods are seriously abnormal. I just don't have words to describe my horror.

I'm speechless. Simply speechless.

Gobsmacked? It's gotta be a sin to use a term I've never heard before.

What percentage of the GDP is generated at Wal-Mart? If it's more than 10%, that is a sin as someone else mentioned in this thread -- spending more than 10% on anything, or at any one place is a sin because you are putting it ahead of God.

Gobsmacking people is also a sin, because it comes from Gobstoppers, as miasma said. Gobstoppers are made by Willy Wonka, and he often wears blue. Plus the Oompa-Loompas are bluish purple, and it is a sin for people to be that color. (Are Oompa-Loompas people?)

No, they're demons manifested as people. Therefore, sinful.

Is it a sin for people who are speechless to write the longest posts? BTW, have we decided on the shirt thing yet? I have to head out to Sam's club this afternoon.

Well, I think to avoid any controversy over the colour of your shirt, you should forgo one all together.

It's just now become obvious? Isn't that a requirement for being a mod around here?

ohohohohohohooooo

I just got back from Krogers! Bought coffee and salad stuffs and triscuits. Used coupons. Hmmm should I throw the three dollars I saved from the coupons into the offering plate? BTW, I was wearing a purple sweater and did not stop into the QT station. Gas is 2:35 a gallon. When I run out I'll just push the truck to work.

It depends on if your children are in a hurry or not. We all know our lives revolve around our children and if they want to get home to play then we should accommodate them at all costs.

If you need gas, you better make sure it is a Terror Free Gas station.

Is it a sin to want to throttle family members? Let me set the scene. It is the mid-month shopping trip and you have carefully spent every dime and dollar buying a nice variety of healthy yummy food for good prices to tide the family over until the next big shopping trip. Get home. Unload the car. Put groceries away. All done.

or so you would think.... suddenly, without warning, someone has no more shampoo! Like they couldn't see that one coming and put it on the list. Kinda like suddenly running out of toilet paper (argh).

so, if you wanna cuff them upside the head, is it a sin?

Depends, Car2--are you wanting to cuff them with your right hand or your left?

Right. Being left-handed is a sin.
