Didn't Paul say that looking at heaven and God's kingdom now is like looking through dirty glass? Or was it a dirty mirror. Anyhow, it seems that it's ok to just let your computer room window get filthy.

But make sure your computer cam has a fig leaf on it.

Whew! Good Idea Car2! That's how i'll do it...let's see here...let me just adjust this leaf...you would not believe how hard it was for me to get that leaf while naked...and the window...well, it wasn't dirty yet so i looked around, saw no one looking and quickly hung a white sheet across it....it's not a curtain or venetian blind, so it can't be sinful, right??????

I am reminded of the title of the album by The 77's, a Christian group of the late 80"s: Pray Naked.

That is Biblical isn't it?

Hey, can we go off topic and fuss about people who go O.T.?

Like going to the grocery store for milk and bread and coming home with ice-cream and juice and lotsa-otha-stuff?

Well, uhm, sure, I guess.

But if we're gonna go strictly Old Testament, I'd appreciate Scriptures to back up your post, please.

Can we buy meat from the same store that we buy milk from?

Yes, as long as you don't cook them together.

Yes, as long as you don't cook them together.

You also have to purchase them while going through different check-out lanes. If you want to really be on the safe side, you should purchase them on separate trips to the store.

What if the person in front of me is buying milk...can I still go through that check out line with meat? How can I know which lines are for meat buying and which lines are for dairy purchases?

As long as you dip your finger in lamb's blood and smear it on the conveyor belt before you put your groceries on it, you will have cleansed the line and it will be clean for your groceries.

That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anybody say about anything.

Or just find a particularly leaky package of lamb chops and put them on the conveyor first....

Well, we wouldn't want Kate to get too proud now, would we? I'm just trying to think of my sister in Christ when I say that.

Since reading this thread, I've been unable to go grocery shopping, for fear that I might be sinning. But, I'm fast running out of food, and have to wonder . . . when all one has left are 100 calorie pack Oreos and cupcakes, is the greater sin grocery shopping or 100 calorie oreos or cupcakes for every meal?

Is it a sin to discuss anything other than groceries while grocery shopping?
