I found it : United States Futsal Federation! It seems is more popular in the west coast and need some more advertsement and divulgation in the east coast, yep.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hxqb1fr447U&feature=related

Here we go, as so many kids who enjoy playing soccer during warmer months, can keep on playing futsal in colder months.

I was going to answer you about this - yes, we do have Futsal - I know many of their referees - in fact, I should probably get my badge to do those games as well.

Yes, do it Lisa!!!

Its such fast, exciting and all weather game! When American kids really discover futsal they sure will embrace it and many go then embrace soccer, yep, I do think.

So, do you recognize where MY name comes from? LOLOLOL As SOON as I saw Dynamo, I KNEW it was from MLS.

I know Dom Kinnear from his days playing for the Mutiny.

I got the Mutiny reference but the wx took reading a few posts to figure out. Don't know a lot about the Mutiny but if Dom ws there, it must be good. He certainly knows how to build a team!!! Not that I'm partial or anything....

We lost the Mutiny in 2002 along with Miami - so now, Houston is the closest team to me - and with Dom at the helm, I love it! I saw them play last year in Dallas - Sept 30th. The referee is my friend and I was taking pics for him. LOVED getting to shoot him carding Ruiz.

One of my fav players from the Dynamo is Patrick Ianni - his older brother played for Tampa back in 96.

Oh, and yes, your area must be a hotbed - there's a chance I may be coming out that way this summer some time.

I wondered if the Mutiny had gone out of existence or had faded into some minor league kind of thing. I didn't discover soccer until 2004. I have seen Houston play in KC the last 2 years and went to see the Revs play in 2006. Got to meet Clint Dempsey!!!! I was so excited I couldn't think straight and my friend had to lead me out of Arrowhead Stadium.

I LOVE it when El Pescadito gets carded. Let me guess-was it for diving?

Ianni hasn't gotten a whole lot of playing time but seems to be doing pretty well with the U-23 national squad. Maybe this will be his year...

If you do come this way, look me up!

How long have you been posting/lurking?:I've been coming to CW for a year or two. I only looked at the forums portion last week and first posted today!

What do you enjoy doing?: I really enjoy reading novels, mostly classics, spending time with my wonderful friends, laughing, and watching great tv.Also, learning anything, visiting museums, shopping.

Tell us a little about yourself: I am 24 y/o, no kids. I do not have an interesting job, I teach Sunday school for 12-14 yo's,in a small baptist church. I was born and raised in Chi-town, third generation! I have a BS in Fashion Merchandising. I wish I had a small dog! I love girly stuff but am also a huge geek. I basically love anything with the word "STAR" in it-Star Trek (org), Star Wars, Stargate...I'm a burgeoning movie buffette. I love my friends and family but value my alone time and am still trying to figure "it all" out. That is, everything except who is in control. God is the current and permanent love of my life!

How long have you been posting/lurking?: A few years

What do you enjoy doing?: I love to read, write, travel, and I absolutely love music.

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a 30-something year old female who now lives in Florida. I was born in Panama and spent most of my life in Maryland. I've never been married, have no kids, and no pets. While I do believe that it is God's plan for my life that I will be married one day, I'm in no rush; it is WAY better to be single than in a situation that is not of God. I am in grad school, studying digital media and film and trying to figure out what to do for my thesis . In my "previous life" I worked in IT writing technical manuals, designing websites, and user interfaces. Now, I'm working towards becoming an author and video editor, and probably working with film. I feel this is the call for my life.

I was saved back in '95, right before I left college. I didn't grow up in church and no one in my family was saved when I was growing up. But, you know how it goes - almost like dominoes. Once I got saved and my mother did, one by one all of my other family members got saved - so today I'm thankful that I have a godly heritage. While I've been to a number of mainline churches over the years (Baptist, Methodist) as well as non-denominational churches, I find that I'm much closer to churches like Vineyard, which are conservative and evangelical when it comes to interpreting biblical texts, while still retaining the charismatic and pentacostal emphasis on the Holy Spirit.

I love reading, watching movies, some tv, traveling, and taking photos. I love sci-fi, dramas, clean comedy (getting harder and harder to find these days), the arts, cool new technology, sushi, mountains, new cultures ... and in general new things. I'm pretty easy-going and flexible. And I'm glad to be here ...

How long you have been posting/lurking?: I've signed up a few days ago. This is my first post.

What do you enjoy doing?: I love to cook and read. I enjoy spending time with my family. And I love movies all kinds old and new but I really enjoy animated films.

Tell us alittle about yourself: Well, I'm shy and I don't talk much but when someone can draw me into a conversation I can go on and on. I'm 26 years old single with no children. I have some college education but no degree. I want to better myself (I work at a retail) so I'm thinking about going back to school and pursuing my degree in Animation (that's what I want to do).

LOLOLOL - where will you be down here? It's not exactly the best time to come, but should be fine for you both.

Well Jeannie, even though you're a soccer type we'll welcome you. (It'll make Lisa insufferable though)

We will be in Panama City Beach. I think you can go to www.lifeway.com/fuge/xfuge and check it out. We'll be staying at the Edgewater Resort. The teens will be witnessing out on the beach and I think they will also be going to a nearby children's hospital to minister to the kids.
