You guys have roses already??? Yikes our tulips just started to come up. lol We have so much rain in the last two days I think we might have to start calling them waterlilies.

Our lilac bushes are not going to produce this year because of the past 2 wks of it getting down to 20 degrees at night

I like the smell of lilac. It is a shame they only bloom for a short time.

Why I'm glad you asked. It is a small tree... a shrub really that grows in a hedge type planting and in the summer to early fall it produces medium to large hot dogs. If you pick them early enough you can get a small crop of cocktail weenies but they must be picked young. There are different types. FrankfurteriousPlumpis produces big juicy hot dogs while its cousin the WeenieriousEnlongous produces a mild but extra long hot dog. I also recommended planting a bun tree nearby.
To grow your own hotdog bush, plant a single hot dog in a jar of mustard and hope for the best.
