ORIGINAL: DeeAnnBailey Ok, my first initial is D. the name will remain unsaid! LOL - it's not that bad, I just don't like it. When I make my first venture onto the internet, I'd heard the 'horror stories' of the weirdos that you meet there so I determined I would not use Ann and I really didn't like 'made up' names so I took the first initial and became Dee. I went into the 'world' of Harold Timmon's chat room and got to know a great bunch of folks who only knew me as Dee. If we had chatter get togethers at concerts - I was Dee, or as HT (Harold) called me Queen Dee, they didn't know my real name. Then artists started coming into the chat room and I started having some fun - the artist knew me as Ann, they had no idea who Dee was. So imagine when Dee started asking them things that a lot of folks didn't know. Jerry Brown with the Telestials thought he had a stalker and Gerald Wolfe asked several times 'Do I know you??????" Tim Bullins (owner of the Anchormen) was about to quit coming in until I emailed and told him who I was. These days there are so many places to go 'talk' on the internet it wouldn't be a big deal but back then a lot of us were leery of 'who' we might come in contact with. Some of the artists thought it was a passing fad. Slowly 'Dee's' world and 'Ann's' world started blending together and it became DeeAnn. When I wrote my book, I wanted to use my legal name not a nickname so I did D. Ann and that's what I have written under most of the time. See it's not that interesting, just long! LOL It must be Deidre.....[;)] Thanks, Dee![:)]
