......... wow. So much going on here!

I think I started CW in 2002.... it was during/after my divorce.... I was so hungry to be around others who love Jesus.....

(((((Sharon!))))) What an emotional Sunday.... it was for me, too... I cried half way through the sermon.... I was really surprised at my tears...

Today is a new day!

I hope all take time to look around and see God's amazing grace in action....

xxoo Rach

I posted a long post this morning and the internet ate it.

Whose turn was it to feed the critter?

I started in late '99 and decided to change my handle since it was close to my real name. I came back with a new name in early 2000.

Momma_bee, I was wondering what happened. It showed in My Forums page that you had a post in this thread but when I came to the thread, it wasn't here!!

It was really good and I talked about who was here and how my feelings were hurt because I didn't get the inside jokes and felt excluded and THEN I found the chat threads.

I remember when you came in and how you said you were "AWED" by the love here.

And, I bellyached about the smiley posts taking so long on dial-up and how I'd get peeved to wait for a page to load and have NOTHING to read.

Maybe that is what happened - I complained?

And, I admitted I still send FIM's. 'Member when they were added?

I just want you to know this isn't nearly as good when it is regurgitated like this!

Ben - some days are like that.

I have a leak in my office today.

The hot water line upstairs is leaking into the downstairs. When I was charged with getting the drawing flood-proof, I really thought they meant from the creek coming up.

The drip-drip-drip makes me make trips down the hall and my file cabinets are covered in plastic. Tomorrow, they'll get to it tomorrow.

Gee, could my trouble with Crosswaalk Forms back in 2001 have been that I used dial-up?

Deb, I'm not sure; I've used dialup here in the forums till mid 2006.

Nah, I was using dial-up in 2000 and 2001 and probably 2002 as well, can't remember when I switched to broadband.

The original forums, pre-2002 were notoriously slow. It took about 30-40 seconds per each page load.

I don't know when I first came on. I know it was before 2001 but don't remember how long before and then I was off for a while till this year (2-3 yrs?)as most of you know.

I heard about this place back in 1997 or 98. Lurked for a long time as I had a slooooooooow internet connection and a Mac (Hi Sharon! ) and couldn't post and didn't feel it was right to do from work at the time. I think it was 2000 when I first made myself known in the Men's section. (Deleted that first post too, because it didn't generate any response. Silly me.) Then I found the General Topics folder and well.... The rest is history!

Wanted to add that I have not changed my name here. I did have an alias one time for one post only though. I forget what it was even.

I had completely forgotten about that, Stovie. I think we met in the Women's thread. I remember what our first conversations were about too and have often wondered if you ever got those things resolved.

I was in a thread one time and someone said, "There is a poster who goes back the name of jailbabe! "

I laughed at that; and then in your defense posted about how that is your ministry and what a wonderful person you are.

........ I wondered if anybody would remember!

I love using that name on myspace... sometimes people come to me with requests or needs... and I get the opportunity to encourage them...

That's cool, Rach!

I made up a handle one time as a joke, but don't remember what it was; that was a long time ago.

A couple of weeks ago, I changed my handle for a day - again as a joke (and, again, I don't remember what it was - LOL)

I also have an additional handle that I use very occasionally.

But mostly, I am and have been and will be whiteroseblessings.
