..... mmmmm!!! ribs!

My BIL is the best outdoor cooker!!! Last time he cooked for us, it was ribs!!!

Christine... I would LOVE to come and share ribs with you!

AD, I didn't starve for lunch.... I broke down and went to Subway.... only to come back to my office and find out our entire office staff was invited to have Chinese leftovers from a function here in the building... go figure.

Rachel ... feel good in knowing that you are eating healthier than everyone else.

My leftover ribs were the pre-cooked kind from a week ago. Still yummy nonetheless.

I would LOVE a smoker or somethign to cook ribs the right way. Mmmmmmm

.... he has an outdoor Texas grill.... a 55 gal barrel cut in half... lol!

He marinated the ribs for a day... then slow cooked them over a wood fire with some kind of wood....

They melted... ahhhhhhh........ what a good memory! ;o)

Thank you so much for the hug Karlie, it had great timing. ((((((Karlie)))))))

Hi everyone! Not a problem if you forget where you are as far as I'm concerned! I have enjoyed the conversations! Also have been fighting food cravings, but then, this forum wouldn't be home without food discussions.

It was a wild day/evening at work and my brain is a bit "fried". And no, I am not trying to add to the food discussion.

Can't believe that I'm the only one awake!

I developed a nasty headache earlier and laid down and fell asleep after the meds kicked in. Now I'm awake....

Headache is much better. It hit kind of sudden though. I went to eat at Golden Corral as I mentioned in another thread and we got home and wham! Everything I ate tasted okay and I didn't get sick, so not sure what caused it. Thank you for asking.

On another note, my manchild got his Jr-ROTC uniform today and he looks so handsome in it. I must take a picture and post it in the AM.

Please do Brenda. Glad your headache got a lot better.

I ended up going to bed earlier than normal for me because Friday (today) is going to be a little different work wise for me that will require me to go back like 8pm and stay till after midnight.

Hi Trish and Kath

When I worked for the big computer company I had one week a year like that. During the physical inventory I had to be on call 24/7 to go over the results and give the approvals. We're talking in the neighborhood of $20 million worth of stuff and I was in my early 20's. No stress at all!

I have to say, even if there is occasionally a little griping, that work can be pretty interesting and unique. The job I am talking about tonight is the 4th night of a one time job because of a "conference" in another city.

On another note... Angie's treatment will be changing again. And truly we covet the prayers.

Well, I suppose work would appreciate it if I got dressed other than a nightgown before I go in so I better get to it. I was suppose to go to a visitation prior to a funeral today but I just can't do it today.

Thanks Christine! That was before the boat races in Racine a couple of weeks ago. I am surrounded with pink a lot these days. Good thing I LOVE pink.
I even have some beautiful pink checks.

I took the link out because it requires a bunch of clicking to get to the actual check.

It's one single pink rose background, and there is a pink foil ribbon, and pink foil lettering that says Hope, Love, Life on the top.
