Oh and at the Fort Wilderness Lodge, they usually host a nightly campfire with marshmallows and then show a Disney movie. If you take the boat from the Contemporary hotel just get off at Fort Wilderness. It is also free. that's all I can think of for now, but i'll post later if I remember anything. There is really SOOO much to do there for free!

Thanks for looking that up, Tammy. I actually subscribed to the unoffical touring plans site when I first started planned, but didn't take much time to look around and forgot about going back. That site is actually how I found out about gay days.

Expedition Everest rollercoaster (adults only on that one!).

Tammy, I missed that one. My 7 year old went on that ride and we could NOT get her off. We spent an entire day at the Animal kingdom just for that ride. I am not fond of animal kingdom, but they do have that one roller coaster. I can't remember what you call them a crazy mouse? My daughter couldn't go on that when she was 4 and threw a fit, but the last two times we went, she just made it and it got to the point where we had to just give her to my son and let them go on it until it got a long line.

But Everest was one of her favorites also. She cried when we told her we were out of fast passes, but my husband took her back later. That one has no fear.

I'd rather not post exactly where we are staying right now since there is always the possibility of Internet stalkers, but I will tell you after the trip. :)

Good, because we have only stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and pop century. While pop century was a value resort, we found it much nicer than port orleans because it was all newer. The room size wasn't too bad, but we had to say that one of us was staying with another group. That was when we went for Night of Joy and we just added one of the kids to one of the other rooms because the value resorts only allow up to 4 people per room. Then we brought an air mattress for the girls and Jake got a bed and my husband and I took the other. It worked out pretty good.

If you are looking for good counter service meals, there is an awesome food court in the Land pavillion and you get to pick from all the great desserts at the more expensive resturaunts. The mexican resturaunt in Epcott also had pretty decent counter service.

Definitely exceptions to every rule! Obviously most older kids would like it and some young ones too. I think our oldest might like it next time we go - in about 1 1/2 yrs from now - she'll be 8 1/2 then.

You never know. Jake was 11 and he refused to go on it so Kali went on a bunch of times with us and he stayed back. When we were down to only one fastpass, he decided he wanted to go on and by then, the wait in line was over an hour. He got really upset and after reminding him that I tried to even force him through the line, he didn't want to go, I ended up giving him the fast pass, and I went in the single riders line and he just let people go ahead of him until I was first in the single riders line. Then he was kicking himself because he ended up loving the ride.

I didn't think I would like it either because of that first climb, but eventhough I have this thing about heights, it was an awesome view and so I loved it. But if the coaster would have stopped and they would have had us get out and walk down, I would not be able to do it.

Has that happened before?! That would be scary!

When we were riding Splash Mountain the ride stopped for a bit. The "log" 3 in front of us was stopped 1/2 way up the climb. Glad we weren't them! It ended up getting going again and it was all good. I'd be really nervous if that happened on a rollercoaster though!

Our girls LOVED the Barnstormer. Which I realize is a very tame rollercoaster. But they loved that and we would've tried taking the older 2 on Big Thunder Mountain but we ran out of time. Next time!

LOL, it hasen't happened that I know of, but that is why they have those stairs on the side of rollercoasters. Just in case you have to walk down. But that ride is still new so I don't expect any problems until a couple of years from now. But it was a great view. I can't wait to go back, but we are going to have to because I wanted to go to DC and Williamsburg. I can't wait for that because I think my kids are going to be surprised at how much fun they have.

Here is my first Disney tip:

if you are going to stay on-property at a Disney value resort, do NOT pick All-Star Movies!

The reason:

At both of the water parks and two of the regular parks, the three value resorts have to share one shuttle bus. All-Star movies is the furthest away. Even if you are first in line at the bus stop to go to the park, when the bus gets to you it will likely be full and you will have to stand. At the end of the day when you are beat and again have to stand on the bus to get back, it takes the longest to get to.

My recomendation:

Stay at Pop Century. It gets its own buses.

If Pop Century is full, stay at All-Star Sports... it is the closet All-Star resort and thus first on the bus route.
