The return of VKM is tonight

Look forward to the return of Triple HHH at Summerslam...

Lashley has a shoulder injury, Undertaker was injured by Mark Henry, Shawn Michaels is recovering from a knee injury, Ashley is "suspended"...

Andrew Test Martin and suspended Tennessee Titan Adam 'Pacman' Jones are now on TNA...

So Vince has a "illegitimate child", Lawler has to crown Booker, and Umaga turns face. It's going to be an interesting month on RAW.

I'm still curious what happened with Jeff Hardy? Has anyone heard the reason for his suspension yet? All that they are saying is it is due to a "lack of maturity."

I saw in a couple in web-sites that he has been suspended, but they didn't give a reason. I think Jeff's web-site says he took a bad fall and is healing up.

Does anyone else expect HHH to show up at MSG during the crowning of King Booker.
HHH claims to be king of kings.

Rumor has it on 24wrestling.com that he is supposed to show up. But then, the WWE has denounced all HHH rumors, saying that he is expected to return at Summerslam, so we'll have to just watch next week and see. Regardless, I highly doubt that Booker will be receiving the coronation that he is expecting. *lol*

WWE: Wrestler Brian 'Crush' Adams Found Dead
Monday, August 13, 2007

The Web site WWE.com announced Monday that wrestler Brian Adams — known as "Crush" — was found dead, less than two months after the murder-suicide of professional wrestler Chris Benoit and his family.

Tampa police told FOX News that Adams' wife found him unconscious in bed and called 911. He was pronounced dead in the home when medics could not revive him.

According to biographical listings at Wikipedia.org and IMDB.com, along with wrestlers "Ax" and "Smash," Adams was part of the face-painting, leather strap-wearing tag-team known as "Demolition."

Did anybody see Saturday Night Main Event? Again it wasn't shown up here.

Smackdown was good though.

I am looking forward to seeing both Tripple H and Ray Misterio back in the ring.

I was out of town at our church's Family Retreat, with no TV available, and forgot to set the VCR for Main Event. Like Yankee Nut, I'd like to ask what happened with it, and who were the winners at SummerSlam last night. Can somebody enlighten us, please?

You can count on me, your obd't couch potato to fill you in if you miss it *grin*.

Started out with Batista and Kane v. Khali and Finaly. Match was pretty good. Of course, Hornswagle snuck into the match, but in the end B. and K. were victorious with a Batista bomb on Finlay and a double choke slam on Khali.

Cena had a match with Carlito, which went pretty much as expected. Orton came out as the bell rang, (Cena got the win with a STFU) and gave the champ an RKO off a steel chair.

Viscera and Johnny Nitro (sorry I can't call him Morrison or Big Daddy V) teamed against CM Punk and Boogeyman for a pretty uneventful match with Punk pinning Nitro for the win.

Stone Cold came out to throw his two cents in to the illegitimate child ring, and ended up kicking Mr. McMahon in a place no man likes to be kicked, before drinking a beer with the Chairman and then delivering the Stunner. I think I'm missing another match in there somewhere, but not entirely sure. Oh yeah, how could I forget.

Evander Holyfield and Matt Hardy's boxing match. Hardy took what Holyfield could throw at him for one round, getting knocked on his rear about three times. MVP jumped in the ring and started mouthing off at Holyfield, and obviously, Holyfield couldn't care about MVP's advice. He ended up knocking MVP out and raising Hardy's hand in victory, because Matt kept coming back at him, even though he knew he was going to get flattened. I have to say, I'm always impressed when it comes to the Hardys. I even think Matt might have gotten to throw one or two punches before Evander had him in the ropes, on the ground, in the turnbuckle, all over the place.

Oh noble, Summerslam is next week.

Thanks for the info. Missed a Stone Cold Moment. I hate when that happens. I missed Raw last night as well. ( I usually do cause it is on super late and have to work in the morning). Can someone please let me know what happened please?

It was another eh moment with RAW on Monday night. The ridiculous baby daddy game continued on with Mr. McMahon announcing that his illegitimate offspring is a boy and a current roster member on one of the three brands, interupting Orton patting himself on the back for RKO'ing Cena off a chair. (what gets me is the RKO IS NOT A DEVASTATING MOVE- the opponents face is cushioned on his bicep!) anywho, Cena comes out and Vince makes a snide comment about having a tet e tet with Cena's mom, so Cena smacked him in the mouth. So Vince announces the main event will be Cena v. Snitsky.

Then the diva match. It's the same match from last week, and the week before that, and the week before that, and the week before that. Only difference is at the end of this on Mickie James tosses Candace Michelle out of the ring. (Oh, and Candace Michelle has an atrocious new entrance song, some kind of techno noise) A Diva battle royal is scheduled for Summerslam, the winner having a title shot at the Women's Championship.

Then a ridiculous storyline on Ron Simmons and Maria going on a date, with Santino showing up halfway through with Jillian on his arm, to force himself into the date. Ron ran through every word he could think of that rhymes with slam (can't type the regular word he uses as it is a profanity) and it just drug on and on.

Carlito had a pretty good match with Kennedy that ended in a draw. Both of them facing Umaga at Summerslam for the Intercontinental title. Cody Rhodes had a blah match against Shelton Benjamin, winning with a odd looking quick-pin. So the "World's Greatest Tag Team" did a number on him. You know, they showed the footage of Dusty Rhodes being "injured" for the umpteenth time. You have to wonder if Cody is sick of this storyline yet, especially since it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Who else? Uh, Cade and Murdoch against London and Kendrick. Pretty good match. L&K got the win when Cryme Tyme came out, stole Murdoch's hat and auctioned it off to the audience for two dollars. Cade was distracted so one of the two got a pin on him. Don't really remember which.

Cena and Snitskey. Snitskey was touted as undefeated. He controlled most of the match. Cena put a fight I guess, more than Snitskey has seen since he came to RAW. Orton couldn't stay out of it however and jumped in the ring and RKO'd Cena just as Cena had the FU on Snitskey. So Cena won by disqualification and his prize was a second RKO.

Oh, and King Booker came out after announcing HHH was in the building and invited him to the coronation. However, the HHH was a fake, (recycled Orton v. Hogan storyline) and the fake HHH crowned Booker King. So Booker then stood in the ring and mouthed off about how he would defeat HHH. Then he moved on to JR and with the help of Queen Mouth (can't remember her name at this moment) forced JR to kiss his ring.

So that was pretty much RAW. I don't think I missed anything. I'm praying that it will start picking up again once HHH, Jeff Hardy, and Shawn Michaels return. Jeff as a matter of fact will be back around Sept. 1st. On 24wrestling.com, they said he has an autograph signing on Aug. 31st, so expect him to return around then. They also said that the Undertaker wanted to return at Summerslam, but Vince said no. He didn't want anyone to think that they were rushing their superstars out of injury back into the ring. So he wants Undertaker to take one more month off and return at Unforgiven where he'll face Mark Henry. (meaning Mark Henry will get "injured" again and be off for another six months before returning to pound the snot out of a bunch of other guys that he overweighs by about four hundred pounds).

I saw ECW last night, and I thought the illegitimate child angle took on a humorous turn when McMahon confronted the ECW original, (uh... 'manhood') Mahoney! Let's just say it involves some innuendo-wordplay, this side of Looney Tunes!

I only caught the tail end of the match between CM Punk, I wanna say Boogeyman v. Johnny Nitro and whoever he was teaming with. I didn't pay much attention.

Anyone ordering Summerslam? I'm still not sure if I'm gonna.

Yankeenut, I absolutely love your sig. That's awesome.

I didn't catch Smackdown, well the whole of it. Th eonly thing that really sticks out is Chavo had a match with Funaki and he tore into him pretty bad. Then pretended insanity, kept calling him Rey. MVP and Matt Hardy had a basketball challenge, that ended with Deuce and Domino jumping both of them. (earlier in the night A tag match was made between Matt Hardy and MVP v. Deuce and Domino for the Tag Team Championships.

Raw was pretty good last night. Cena stands tall again, defeating Orton at Summerslam. The show kicked off with a whiny Orton complaining that his chance was stolen. Cena comes out and makes fun of him. Cena then says Orton will get his chance at a re-match but that night, Cena wanted to give HHH a shot at the belt. William Regal comes out and says that the main event will not be Cena v. HHH, but Cena v. King Booker.

First match of the night-THE RETURN OF JEFF HARDY. I was thrilled, it was Hardy v. Kennedy. Umaga interferred in the match, but did not go after Kennedy. He instead went after Hardy. He then held the title up to Hardy's face. Makes me think that we might be seeing Hardy v. Umaga for the Intercontential Title. That was Umaga's way I suppose of naming his number one contender.

Next match was World's Greatest Tag Team with Davari against Cody Rhodes and London/Kendrick. For once Dusty Rhodes was not mentioned when Cody hit the ring. A pretty decent match with Kendrick being taken apart for most of it. Cody Rhodes wins with the pin on Davari. We go to commercial and return ot Davari having a temper tantrum in the ring. Cryme Tyme comes out and steals his headdress and sells it to the crowd. Cade and Murdoch come out and Cryme Tyme steals Cade's Stetson hat and gives it away in the crowd.

Carlito's Cabana features Vince McMahon. McMahon says how everyone listens to him and then....the Game's music hits. HHH is back. He comes out and they have a pretty funny skit with Vince, four "women" and HHH. Vince get's mad, tells HHH he hates him and wishes he never came back (it was quite funny) and Carlito makes the mistake of spitting apple in the Game's face. HHH smiles that smile and goes to work on him, giving Carlito a Pedigree.

Then we had the Diva match that was over before it even began. Maria v. Beth Phoenix. That Beth Phoenix, I swear, she's the female version of Snitsky. Before the bell rang, she tore into Maria, and the ref sent her out of ringside before the match even began.

Next on the plate we had Cena v. King Booker. Half-decent match. Lots of back and forth. Of course, Orton couldn't stay out of it. He came to the ring and jumped Cena. They double teamed him a while before Booker left. Orton went to punt Cena in the head, stopped at the last moment, and exited the ring. Being that they were in Boston, Cena's father was in the stands. Orton pulled him over the security barrier and kicked him in the face. Shades of Edge v. Cena all over again.

All in all, I was happy with it last night. Two of my favorites returned. Now, when HBK gets back, things should be back to normal, well as normal as WWE gets.

Thanks again. I really appreciate it

WWE suspends TEN superstars

By SIMON ROTHSTEIN of THE LILSBOYS

COMMENT ON THIS STORY

IN the most decisive move of its kind in the history of the wrestling business, the WWE have suspended many of their biggest name wrestlers for breaking drug rules.
The action came after the 10 men – allegedly including former world champions Edge, King Booker and Randy Orton as well as Mr Kennedy and ECW champ John Morrison – were identified as clients of Signature Pharmacy in Orlando.

That company was busted by cops in February for the distribution of steroids and other prescription drugs to clients who had not been examined by a doctor.

Thoughts on WWE suspensions
As a wrestling fan, days like yesterday bring about mixed emotions. On the one hand, it isn’t pleasant to see a form of entertainment that you are passionate about going through a difficult time. But there is no denying that the wrestling industry has serious issues that are long overdue in being addressed. Now, they have to be addressed, and that’s a good thing because it is literally a matter of life and death.

As I’m sure everyone is aware, WWE suspended 10 wrestlers for violations of its wellness policy based on independent information received from investigators from the Albany, N.Y., district attorney’s office.

The names of the suspended wrestlers were not made public, although WWE said that it will disclose the names of wrestlers who have failed wellness tests starting in November. However, Sports Illustrated reported on its Web site yesterday that 14 wrestlers have received steroids and/or human growth hormone through Signature Pharmacy, the Florida pharmaceutical company under investigation. On the list was: Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, Shane Helms, Randy Orton, John Morrison, Mr. Kennedy, Funaki, Brian Adams, Charlie Haas, Umaga, William Regal, Edge and Sylvain Grenier. Also reported to be clients of Signature Pharmacy were Batista and Chris Masters, by ESPN, and King Booker, Simon Dean and Santino Marella, by the New York Daily News.
