wow just wow royal rumble was amazing.

SPOLIERS ON WHO WON

SPOLIERS

Ric beat MVP
Jerhico D/Q agisnt JBL did the choke thing on him
Edge won by vicky helping him
Orton reversed a twist of fait into a rko to win
Lets see hmmmm how do i describe ummmmmm unertaker and HBK got taken out early on at the same time pretty much. Finley D/Q himself to save hornswaggle from Big daddy V and mark henry.........
Then john Cena came in at 30 and won it.
Yep thats right Cena is back. It was Batista Triple H and Cena final 3 HHH gets Batista then Cean does 5 knuckle then his finsiher on HHH to throw him over the ropes. Overall very much better then last year other then Edge and Orton winning.

Glad that The Nature Boy lives on in the WWE
Glad Jericho won as well
Sucks that Orten and Edge both lost
Glad to see Cena back though

armydude -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (1/28/2008 12:25:40 AM)

Orton and Edge both won. Still the champs.[&:]

S00N3R_FR3AK -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (1/28/2008 9:36:54 PM)

Cena wins at no way out HHH gets the 1# contender and they play at wrestlemaina. Cena will win again there. Between Undertaker and Batista who ever doesnt play edge at wrestlemaina will win money in the bank.

Yankee Nut -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (2/2/2008 8:33:24 PM)

Good Raw and Smack Down this week.

Interesting that at No Way Out both Brands are haveing an elimanation chamber match.

MVP Went to far in the match against Flare (Any New News?)

armydude -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (3/30/2008 4:50:13 PM)

Wrestlemania Predictions (IOW a guess)

HHH vs. Orton vs. Cena... Anybody's guess, but my prediction is Orton keeps the title.
Edge vs. Undertaker... I pick Undertaker because it's about time for Edge to lose that title. I don't see him as a top level contender anyway, but that's just me.
Mayweather vs. Big Show... Not a clue on how this one's gonna play out, but I believe someone else will come into play. Maybe another wrestler we haven't heard from lately.
Flair vs. Michaels... Now that Flair's in the Hall of Fame (and the only current wrestler to make it), I believe Michaels will win.
Money in the Bank Ladder match... I say C.M. Punk will win. But I don't think he'll stay on ECW. I hope not. I'd like to see him on Raw.
Batista vs. Umaga... I pick Umaga. Batista isn't the animal he used to be.
24 man battle Royal... I pick Khali. I don't think anyone on ECW can beat him. This also means he'll likely be the new ECW champion.
Finlay vs. JBL.. Finlay. Hands down.
That "other" match... couldn't care less...

C'mon somebody! Give us the results from WrestleMania. Those of us without access to wwe.com or Pay-Per-View are dying to know!

Alrighty...
Orton won the triple threat
Undertaker won over Edge
Mayweather knocked out Big Show
Michaels defeated Flair
C.M. Punk won
Batista beat Umaga
Kane won the battle royale and won the ECW championship
JBL beat Finlay..
That "Bunnymania" match... didn't pay attention

Thanks, armydude, for your quick response. I'll be anxious to see if Vinny Mac at least lets Flair say goodbye to the RAW audience tonight - but he probably won't. I'm glad that 'Taker and Batista won their matches, but majorly peeved that that arrogant creep, Orton, is still the WWE Champ. Why is Vince continuing to give all of these props? And Kane beat Khali and Big Daddy V? How cool is that?! I had hoped that Finaly would win, but he didn't. And as for the tramps, I mean, Divas - who cares! But what I'd really like to know is: How in the Sam Hill did "Money" beat The Big Show? Did he trip him or kick his knees out from under him, then catch him with a lucky punch? That's gonna be interesting to see tonight on RAW!

Duane

armydude -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (3/31/2008 1:12:23 PM)

You are quite welcome. I believe Flair will get a chance to say goodbye. I'm very interested to see if Michaels takes a heel turn for ending Flair's career. I hope not.

Orton is getting the respect he deserves as an incredible athlete, but I do wish his character wasn't the arrogant jerk he is.

S00N3R_FR3AK -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (3/31/2008 5:35:10 PM)

Orton gets his butt kicked then right as HHH is bout to win he comes out of now where a little kick to the head and HHH is out. As for money he og thold of some brass nuckles. Vert happy with taker. Very happy at the end of the bunny match when Snoop Dog closed lined Santino, i cant stand that guy.

noblesinger -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (4/2/2008 11:29:05 AM)

I watched RAW on Monday night and I saw the highlights of WrestleMania that they aired - both still and video. I did miss, however, what happened when Khali interrupted Big Show - I mean, a guy's gotta go to bathroom sometime. So what was the result of that encounter?

I loved the tribute that they gave to The Nature Boy. I may not have always liked him, but daggone it, the guy had a tremendously long career and deserved everything that came to hime the other night. But I was a little bit disappointed that Hogan didn't come, 'cause those two had one heckuva rivalry. I figured that Sting wouldn't make it, since he's under contract to TNA and they wouldn't let him come, but Hulk's sitting at home trying to figure out how to pay for his divorce. Surely he could spare a couple of hours to stop by and salute Slick Ric. Oh well, his loss - not ours.

Nothing really. Khali got in his face and Big Show put his fist in Khali's face. (well not literally) Khali eventually left the ring. He did say a few things, but it wasn't understandable.

I was at that RAW. After it went off the air, Taker came down and hugged Flair and did the salute. Vince came down and hugged him and the crowd said "Thank You Flair" for about 10 mins. Great ending.

I have to admit I shed a tear for Natch. But I think a lot of people did. What I don't get is why Shawn is getting so much flack for ending The Nature Boys career. He was only doing what Rick told him to do.

I have to say that while the idea for the storyline is a good one, HBK and Batista aren't doing a very good job of keeping it up. I'd be surprised to see it go past the next PPV. I'm not sure what the problem is. It seems to me as though neither one of them really wants to do this storyline, and it's showing in the dialogue.

I agree. It's like all the top stars are going through the motions and the only ones that are hungry are the rookies. Sometimes I can't stand to watch. I mean, I had fun at Maina, but only because they put on such a spectacle. The storylines stink. I'm not saying go back to the attitude era, but maybe throw in a stable fued, something, anything. I mean their last halfway interesting storyline (the Vince demise angle) was ruined by the Benoit thing and then they went on that stupid Hornswoggle jaunt. (I alsmost condsidered quitting watching after that) I love wrestling but they are making it harder and harder for me to do so.

I'll say it. That was a good time for them.

themoodyexperience -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (4/9/2008 3:32:19 PM)

One problem I think they have is that they don't debut new or defecting stars in big angles anymore. (Was that Roadkill on ECW last night?) They wretle jobbers on Smackdown for a month and if they are lucky they'll get a push in 6 months. That does seem to be working with Kofi Kingston though. It's been awile since I liked a rookie right off the bat.

JordanW -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (4/23/2008 9:23:22 PM)

I consider wrestling to be a sport so I thought we could have a little discussion on the topic. I love WWE and TNA...TNA has been getting my attention a lot more lately due to the matches that they have had recently which keeps my attention. What about all of you?

armydude -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (4/23/2008 9:51:50 PM)

I am a definite wrestling fan. I have gotten fed up with the storylines the WWE is using. They get SO close to a good storyline, then they drop the ball.

I do follow along, and I watch on youtube and dailymotion to see what's going on.

JordanW -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (4/23/2008 9:55:30 PM)

A stable feud would be good, but there's a lot the WWE needs to work on. The WWE divas have no wrestling talent whatsoever besides a select few, but if you go look at the TNA Knockouts they have tons of talent.

armydude -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (4/23/2008 10:38:52 PM)

A stable feud would be good. I'd like to see Cena, HHH, Michaels, and Punk against Umaga, JBL, Edge and Big Show...

Not one match, but an ongoing feud that would culminate in a big Survivor Series type match... that would be awesome.

Yeah that would be pretty cool, but they don't really do those Survivor Series type matches anymore do they?

armydude -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (4/24/2008 7:31:39 AM)

Sometimes. I'd like to see them more often.

One thing I'd like to see (although it's not likely) is the return of the Four Horsemen stable. Ric Flair could manage it. (Since he was the original.)

JordanW -> RE: Professional Wrestling Thread (4/24/2008 2:59:27 PM)

Yeah they totally threw out the concept of those Survivor Series type matches which is sad. Also I don't think that will happen, just because Flair retired.
