My grandson Noah is now home from the hospital! Praise God! The doctors allow him to be discharged earlier than usual because his mother is a nurse and can continue his care at home. Our ongoing prayer is that he will be able to stay out of the hospital until his next scheduled surgery. Thank you all for your prayers!

WONDERFUL! God is still in the healing business, huh? And in the prayer-answering business!

Thank you to those that prayed for our mission trip - we saw 40 people saved in addition to a lot of work done in local churches in Mexico. I'm tired and ready to get some rest but I'm also excited to see what God is doing!

Little Noah #2 received a good report. His tumors are not cancer! PRAISE GOD! But please continue to pray because he will still have to receive chemo one a week.

I just received a layoff for the week. While I will be able to enjoy a few days off, I will have to say that my paycheck will suffer.

Will be praying you get back to work soon, armydude. What type of work do you do if you don't mind letting us know?

I work in a textile factory. International Textile Group. I am thankful that God has given me a job, but I really wish it wasn't this one.

Hope you can use the time to perfect the sermon. Have you decided the topic?

Yes I have. I am preaching on the topic of being Just like Jesus, and how that should be our goal. It certainly is His.

My great-uncle is having serious heart trouble and doesn't expect to live very long at all. He is in his 70's. I think he is declining further treatment; he just wants to go on to heaven. I don't know all the details. My dad has been pretty close to him, and is rushing down there this morning to see him in case he does go on. We just want the Lord's will to be done; it would be wonderful if he lived another couple of weeks, because his unsaved brother from Washington state is coming out here for a reunion then.
I believe he's ready to go, but I know all his family would appreciate prayer, and I'm sure he needs it too.

The New Hope Church in Sevierville (where the Mull Singings are now held) suffered a great loss when their thrift store burned down last week. I believe that the building (sort of an indoor strip mall) had some other charitable uses.

Remember the church members and leadership in your prayers.

Continue to remember the members of New Hope church. The news is reporting that the fire was arson:

Investigators say arson was the cause of the fire that destroyed the New
Hope Thrift store in Sevierville last week.
"Evidence has been discovered indicating that some type of flammable or
combustible liquid was used to accelerate the fire," Sevierville Fire
Marshall Tommy White said on Thursday.

My dad drove two hours to see my uncle yesterday, stayed just a few minutes (so as not to tire him), and came back. He just wanted to see him. He said the house is full of peace, and Uncle Wayne "is just blessed." He walked in the door, and Uncle Wayne started crying and gave him a big hug. He said that the devil had been telling him (probably for several years) that he couldn't make it to heaven, but Uncle Wayne told my dad that he is going to make it. He said, "I'd stand up in church and say, 'I'm saved,' and the devil would say, 'No you're not,' and I almost thought he was right." But the clouds have rolled back now, and he knows he's headed straight for glory!
My dad was so glad to hear that, because U. Wayne has not always had his head straight over the years, and made some decisions that looked wrong ... not bad, but very unwise. He is just so glad to have this witness from the Lord that he is going to heaven. There won't be any doubt, or any room for the devil to make us wonder whether Uncle Wayne has made it or not. Not even the doctor has any idea how long he may live, so he and his family can still use prayer. One of his daughters just lost her husband a few months ago in a tragic accident cutting down a tree.

Our Sunday School Teacher, Morris, had to go to the Hospital this week to have his pace-maker replaced. When they went to replace it they had to enlarge the pocket for the pace-maker. Please keep him in your prayers. He is a retired Minister and still preaches often, other than in Sunday School

I would like to put one out ther efor you guys and also give you a praise from prayer that happened (just not on this board, was not here when it happened)
First Praise... Our 9 year old son was cleard of having Cystc Fibrosis. Doctors said they were 99.9% sure he had CF, and yes I know it should have been caught at birth, but DR kept saying yep this is it. Well after 4 months of unbelievable stress he was given a free and clear of CF. Now just to find his real problem.

Prayer 1 finding his real problem lol (seemed obvious but posted anyway )

Prayer 2. My current work environment has to change. I feel Him telling me this and the points are there. Bosses calling my home in drunken states of mind on weekends(my time off) and swearing me out for not attending a drinking party with them. All other employes came except me. Sorry don't believe in it and Do not even want the appearance. the prayer is that he sends something my way that will take care of my family ( wife 3 kids {all under 10} and me), and allow me to continue to pursue a music ministry. funny thing is the issues (there have been more) pointing the fact that I need to seek a new job happened when through prayer I started to seek a music ministry. lol funny timing(it was a joke, I always try to laugh no matter what is going on)

I have met and made what I consider several friends on these forums. I would like to request prayer from you for me. By nature I am not a patient person. As I explained to Santa it seems that my life is consumed with job and in-laws. I just can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I ask for specific prayer for patience and understanding and the lifting of any feelings of resentment. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

As a person who struggles with patience, I fully understand. I will add you you to my daily prayer asking for patience.

I don't know why God is taking so long to grant it.
