We're going to Smyrna, TN tonight for SoGospel News Awards program at the River of Life Church. Scheduled to appear are: Gold City, King's Heralds, Sondra Burnett, Issacs, Karen Peck & New River, Three Bridges, Imperials, Tribune Quartet, HisSong and Amazed. If you are close by sure would like to meet you there. Program is Free!

I wish I lived in the Akron OH and northeastern part of Ohio this weekend. Gold City is in Hartville OH tonight and Hubbard OH on Sunday might.

Wanted to go hear the Crist Family in Gadsden last night but was not able to go over there. It takes a little over two hours to make the trip. They weren't scheduled to sing until 7:45 (that was 8:45 our time). Would have made for a very late night for the old geezer.

I am going to Lynchburg, VA tonight to see Jeff & Sherri Easter. I know it will be a good concert. I'm hopeing some of Jeff's family, the Easter Brothers, will be there also. Jeff is very close to his boyhood home when he is around this area.

Sunday night, May 11, Karen Peck & NR will be in West Frankfort, IL, according to SN schedule. We hope to go, as it has been about a year since we have seen them. It will be a nice Mother's Day treat for my wife.

Got a promoters meeting this week. Tribune Quartet is supposed to sing at the banquet on Tuesday evening and Palmetto State Quartet at the meeting on Wednesday. Looking forward to hearing the new Palmetto State Quartet.

On the 10th, we'll see Danny Funderburke and Driven.
And in three weeks, we'll be at the Gaylord Opryland finishing up a three-day Legacy Five weekend concert! Can't wait!

Unfortunately, I have other all-night plans (major telephone system work at the hospital)so I can't go! I was disappointed that Ivan wasn't at the Gaither Homecoming concert last weekend in Atlanta. You'll have to tell us all about it in words, pictures and videos!!!!
