Yeah!!! Only a couple of days and I head to Alabama and the Mark Trammel Trio homecoming. No concerts since 7/1 and I'm READY!!!!!!

We will be attending a Hoppers concert on July 29 at Alpha Baptist Church in Talbott, TN.

When I started this thread I listed the concert events that I plan to attend with my son (my daughter is NOT interested in SG - her loss!) over the next several months. The ones I listed are about all I can afford right now. Some of you probably read my posts in another thread about my son having a form of autism. Well, his autism definitely does not hamper his enthusiasm for Southern Gospel nor for Singing News Magazine. Thanks to SN for printing schedules every month, my son now wants to attend every SG concert within 250 miles of where we live! Basically, if an SG artist is going to be in Kentucky, Ohio, or Indiana, my son wants to go!

He's driving me crazy! [:D]

I'm glad he loves and enjoys SG music and concerts but there is no way I have the time or the money to go to everything. The problem is, because of his autism, I can't get him to understand that.

Oh, the joys of being a parent! [:D]

Oh, and my son is getting worried because I have not yet received my August Singing News. He knows they are out because they were selling them at the Greater Vision concert on Sunday. He runs to the mailbox every day to see if it arrived yet.

I'm going to be at the Crabb Family's last "official" concert on August 1st. I saw the Crabb Family at the same venue a year ago. They all took turns weeping on stage and played for almost 4 hours. It turns out, according to Aaron, that the group had firmly decided that they were going to disband on the bus trip up. It seems appropriate that they are playing the same venue - The Hyndman Ministry Center near Cumberland MD - as their last official date.

Im going to See Three Bridges, Crabb Revival, and Michael Combs on August the 4th in Severville Tn.

And we will be going to DollyWood someday that week too and see the Kingdom Heirs!!

Aug 4 - Lebanon MO - Perry's, Dove Brothers, Palmetto State & Blackwood Brothers!!!!

Sept 15 - Bluffton IN - Have to be with the BB's on Hubby's birthday.

Oct - Kansas with BB's

Nov - Nebraska with BB's

That's the church my friend goes to that I was telling you about that works in a school over your way. Will have to see if she is going to be there that night.

I got a chance to see the Talley Trio along with Gold City and The Skyline Boys among others a few months back. And except for the fact that we were sitting directly in front of the speakers and I couldn't hear anything for about three days, I had a great time.[:D]

Me and BRBB and Mrs. BRBB are planning to go to Dollywood the last of August or the first of September to see the Kingdom Heirs, and we are going to try our best to go to Tony's BBQ.

The Kingdom Heirs said they were going on vacation after yesterday's performance (7/27). You had better be sure they will be back at Dollywood when you are there.
