Sounds like a busy week robertyork.

We are going to hear Classic Sound, Woody Beatty's new group. They will be in Mt Pleasant, Tn August 11th. Also, The Kelly's from Lawrenceburg, Tn.

A lot hit at one time. Had to make choices there are other greats in the area at the same time.
Aug 10 Amy Roth's Homecoming with Ricky Atkinson - Powder Springs, GA
Aug 11 Dixie Melody Boys - Jasper, GA
Aug 11 Primitives - LaGrange, GA
Aug 12 Brian Free - Macon, GA
All of this is within two hours
That's one of the problems with attendance in our area. Just TOO many concerts the same time.

We're off this afternoon for Gadsden, AL to see Triumphant Quartet. An evening of great food and great music at the Top of River Resturant. I think Diana and V are planning on being there also. Maybe we will see some AL posters there.

I'll be going to see Austins Bridge and I believe 33 Miles down in Dry Creek, LA tomorrow night. I've heard Austins Bridge, but not 33 Miles before.

Dinana--it looks like there's a decent chance my whole family and I will get to see your boys (Mercy's Mark) at their homecoming in Columbus, OH next Saturday.

If everything falls into place I'll be pretty excited. It will be my second time and my family's first to hear them live. :)

That's fantastic! It's their homecoming? Any other groups going to be there?

I'm not sure it's officially entitled a "homecoming," but it is at Garry's home church. The Pfifers--also from Ohio--will be there.

My son and I will be leaving in a couple of hours to see Karen Peck & New River, Tim Lovelace, and The Gabbards for the first night of the Gabbard Homecoming in Falmouth, Kentucky. If it isn't too late when we get back, I'll post a concert report in the other thread.

I learned today that the Blackwood Gospel Quartet will be in Roanoke tomorrow night at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at 7PM. I plan to attend the concert if at all possible. Two concert in one week with the possibility of going to see the Old Time Gospel Hour Quatet on Sunday night. That would be out of this world.
