I would love to Santa but it is actually a much longer drive than going to the other places I listed. From here it takes about 5 hours to get to Sevierville. It only takes about 1 1/2 hours to get to Dayton, Ohio from where I live. All of the other places are closer than that. The only exception is Nashville but that is different because it is an entire weekend and not just one night.

danielmount posted this on his blog, SouthernGospelBlog.com, but he didn't post it here. I thought you other GV fans might enjoy reading it. It gave me some interesting facts about Gerald and the group that I didn't know before.

If you have the time and the money, try to get tickets to Legacy Five's Memorial Day Weekend Celebration in Nashville. My two favorite current groups are going to be there - L5 and Greater Vision. GV is there for two days, according to their schedule, so you would get to see them twice and probably have plenty of chances to talk to each of the guys. Gerald even gets on here and posts every now and then. He's a really good guy!

My son and I will be attending and so will GVfan and her husband.

Hey, Jeff. I've also put in a reservation for PraiseFest next November! Can't wait!

Also, I'll get to see "my boys" twice this coming Sunday. Once at First Baptist/Atlanta in the morning and then in Calhoun, GA that evening. God is good!

Donna, I'm in the process of working it out so I can go see GV & L5 on April 4 in Dayton, Ohio (and we're seeing L5 twice before that - including this coming Sunday evening)! My son is really looking forward to the Dayton concert.

Won't be going to First Baptist but plans are to be in Calhoun, GA that evening. They always have a great singing up there. It is a very friendly Church also and the pastor is great.

Hi Donna,
Its been kinda crazy here. My mother had a bad accident in July of 2007. She was struck by a car walking to the post office and ended up with a broken hip, wrist and shoulder. PTL she is doing well and back in her home she is 85. She was with us in our home for 4 months with therapy daily so it has been busy.
Then Jan 8 we had major flooding here and we have been declared a disaster area. http://www.myfoxchicago.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail?contentId=5446151&version=1&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=VSTY&pageId=1.1.1

Ohhhh there is more Jan 10 I broke my foot and my son Jacob broke his hand Jan. 14 Lol..
Aren't you sorry you asked
Please Pray for families in Watseka Illinois many homes were lost and some will never recover.
Looking forward to Greater Vision Feb. 23 to praise the Lord for his blessing.. Donna

As far as I know it is not, though I wish it was. I checked the schedules for Danny Funderburk and the MTT and they are in different states that night. This is just L5 and GV together.

I think those "remembering" concerts were only done by Currington Promotions out of Alabama. They usually stick to the southern states - Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina.

Oh, really? Some promoters in other parts of the country should pick that up for their fans!
