Todays local newspaper shows Greater Vision in Marietta, April 17 for a Celebrating Seniors night at First United Methodist Church. This isn't listed on their schedule.

I went by the church and I found out from the director of senior activities that this wasn't supposed to be in the paper. It's a private event for the church's seniors.

No, I didn't get tickets! But you're right, they could call me whatever they wanted if Donna and I could get in to hear the concert!! We qualify as seniors if you count anyone over 55!!!! But it was for their church members and it was a mistake that the announcement got in the newspaper.
It's only a "free" concert because some anonymous donor was paying for it for the seniors of the church.

Not sure that we want to go now that it just supposed to be for their OWN seniors. We went to one of those concerts one time with another group and was met with a cold shoulder. Think it was also a methodist church just down the road from us.

By the way, Gerald told us last night that his CD, Through the Years, probably won't be available until NQC. Bummer! But the Kids' CD will be out very soon. I can't wait to hear it!

What I forgot to include is that the reason "Through the Years" won't be out any sooner is because "they're working on something else." I don't know what the "something else" is and I didn't ask. Hopefully, Gerald will keep us all updated through the e-newsletters when he's ready!
