ORIGINAL: Jeff_from_Kentucky Donna, was Roy Webb with GV at your concert? Gerald sent out an e-mail that he was travelling with them this weekend so we should get to see him in Nashville. Yes, he was with them. He looks good and we had a nice long chat with him. I got a good picture of Diana and Roy. Maybe she'll post it for everyone. See you tonight, Jeff!

ORIGINAL: L5FanLady Ok, I know this is a bit off-topic, but how in the world do you two gals--or any of you--get your pics small enuf for your avatar?? I have so many pics I could use as mine (I'm overdue for a change, wouldn't you say?) but I need an idea of what kind of program I should buy/download for editing.... Bobby York found a free, really user-friendly site that I've been using. You just have to enter the avatar size (145 or less) and browse to where your picture is on your hard drive. It'll give you three choices of different crops. It's not for photo editing, just sizing. Try this: Shrink Pictures

GV fans, you need to check out the "recent concerts I've attended" thread for some wonderful video clips of Greater Vision. I enjoyed all of the clips but especially enjoyed the one with Jason's mother-in-law playing while Jason was singing lead. What a special moment! Thank you Lord for Greater Vision and what they mean to us! These are wonderful Christian men that have given their lives to you for your service. Please continue to use them in a great way and be with Jason as he begins a new chapter in his life. Be with him and Missy as they transition from the familiar to the unknown. Thank you for them following your prompting and we pray you bless them and the members of Central Baptist Church, Katy, TX as they work together for your kingdom.

(In case you don't know, Dinana is my twin sister!). It was very special to have Sandy there that night. We got to talk to her for a little while afterward. What a dear, and FUNNY lady! And, yes, what a special treat having her play with Jason!

GVfan, I didn't realize you and Dinana were sisters, much less twin sisters. Thanks for the info! It must be great getting to share these awesome concerts together!! Glad you had a chance to visit with Jason's mother-in-law. I always enjoy the opportunity to do things like this. For instance, I remember visiting with Roger Bennett's Dad at a concert in southeast Missouri. He's a really nice gentlemen and seems to enjoy visiting with others. That night, Legacy Five called Roger and he was kidding his Dad about making sure he was being good. Roger's Dad just grinned real big!

She's the picture taker and videographer in the family. You'll get a kick out of this story..... I had written to Gerald before a concert one time asking that he sing my favorite song, God Will Pass By. I had mentioned that Dinana would video it. Well, long story short, GV DID sing it, but it was the 2nd song and Dinana didn't think they would do it that early and she wasn't quite ready to record and she missed the first measure or two. When we talked to Gerald following the concert, he looked at her and said, "Weren't ready, were you?" I would have loved to meet Roger's Dad. I'm sure he is a real "character!" BTW, did you see my write-ups about the Legacy 5 Celebration weekend (in the L5 thread)? The weekend was wonderful. I got to see Greater Vision twice. Introduced hubby to Gerald.

In his weekly e-newsletter, Gerald Wolfe says that Greater Vision with Jacob Kitson has been in the studio this week working on a new CD that will be released at NQC. I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I can't wait to hear it! Also, Gerald writes that Lari Goss has been diagnosed with a rare form of tracheal cancer and is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments at Vanderbilt University Hospital. Please join me in praying for Lari's healing.

I did see your writeups on the L5 Celebration and I enjoyed reading all of them. These writeups gave me a great insight into all the neat things they do at one of these events. Thanks for taking the time to capture and provide all these details! Also glad you got to see Greater Vision and introduce your hubby to Gerald. Gerald is one class act and I continue to be impressed at the things he does for others! I'm sure Gerald was very cordial to your hubby!
