That would be wonderful, but I would be surprised since Gerald hasn't mentioned a release date in his weekly e-letters. And the last DVD took 8 or 9 months to get released!!

Too bad. It must have been one of the other groups that was aiming for an NQC release date. But GV did say they had finished editing, and that might mean they could get some pre-release copies ready to go! :)

In the update Gerald sent out last night, he said that the new CD would be released September 11 at the NQC. He also stated that the editing was completed on the DVD but did not give a release date for it.

Last week's newsletter said the DVD would be available at NQC, too! I just cannot wait! A new CD and a new DVD. That's as close to heaven as I'm gonna get on this earth!!!

I am a GV fan. However the add in the SN with the new album cover looks scary. The guys do not look real. Their smiles look painted on. They went too far with Photoshop.

My brother and I were actually talking about that this past weekend. It looks as though they could be in placed in a wax museum. Maybe they're preparing new figures for the Hall of Fame.

*GV, I am looking forward to the new album!

Well, I don't know. I think Jason's smile looks just like his normal smile....teriffic! But, I don't think the images of Gerald and Rodney do them justice.

I believe MANY SG groups are filled and led by the Holy Spirit.....
But, GV is my favorite! I love the songs Rodney writes and all the songs that GV sings.

I was speed-skimming the threads, like I often do, and since I missed one post in the middle, here's what I saw.

Then I read a second time and saw that Donna was referring to this statement:

Maybe not robots, but that Mike Speck is one awesome choir-music-arrangin' machine!! The fact that he is such good friends with GV is just a bonus.

Yes, and that friendship made the latest Live Atlanta album even better! It really shows that they were having a great time together. Gotta love it!
