Ed Hill, baritone/founder of The Prophets , admitted his wife, Sharon, to the hospital over the M-Day weekend. Sharon is suffering from a serious respiratory condition. Ed and Sharon really need our prayers. TPQ is post-poning rehearsals that were scheduled for this week.

Thanks Kathy! My parents are doing pretty well. My Dad turned 80 earlier this month. Mom will do so in August. They are able to take care of themselves. I did go grill steaks for them on M-day. Had a great time.
Talked with Ed Hill around 7pm Tuesday. He told me that Sharon's right lung has almost cleared. It is double pneumonia. The left lung is still a major concern. She is improving, but still needs our prayers and the hospital's care. He also said that her Dr told him that, for her own protection, he would send her home as soon as he can, due to an unusual outbreak of respiratory illnesses at the hospital...and in the area. Thanks to everyone who is praying for her at this time.

Great news about your Mom, Dad, Mrs. Hill and family! I cannot understand why you did not cook a big chicken bog for your folks on Memorial Day! We are having chicken bog and Bar-b-q

Please pray for our tenor, BILL BAIZE. He has a respiratory infection that is causing him to cough continually. He reports that he has had this same condition before. With treatment it normally passes within a week or so. None the less, we would appreciate your prayers.
SHARON HILL continues to improve since being released from the hospital last week. Thank you for praying for her...and ED.
Finally: EDDIE CROOK reports to me that our TV Show/DVD is being edited this week. He and JOHNNY MINICK are in charge of that project.
Also...THE PROPHETS' first RADIO SINGLE is slotted for release by the end of this month. Amen!

Well...I see that the word is out!
THE PROPHETS' first recording since 1973, has officially been released.
I picked up my first supply of 'em Monday evening, following a Prophets rehearsal at Eddie Crook's home. Only got 120 copies to bring back to AR.
Have already sold about 60 of them. Sold approx 40 last night at a concert that my touring gospel choir and I did at a small Baptist church west of Little Rock.
The official announcement took me a little off guard, because I don't think our retail distribution is quite in place and I know our web-site is still being built. But hey, I think it's great, cause now I can blog about it all I want and nobody can get on my case anymore about, "when is THAT Cd gonna be finished?!"
The article here in the SN Wire and the release at sogonews, do a nice job of covering the basics. If you are interested, I will be posting a more indepth article at my blog...hopefully by late tonite (Sun).
Since you can't buy them in stores yet...or online (right at the moment), I am going to take a leap of faith here in the Forums. Here goes!
IF YOU WANT YOUR COPY asap...simply email me at: pauljackson7@sbcglobal.net ...and send me your full name, mailing address and a phone number where you can be reached...tell me how many copies you want. I will mail them to you and pay the shipping myself. Will send you an invoice ($15 per) with the Cd, which you can pay by return mail.
