Yes Daniel!
I Will announce all the details very soon really.
I can tell you that there will be 2 NQC "meet & greet" The Prophets - Receptions...at the same location...both on Friday...one 4:15-5:45pm
and then again at 9:00-10:30pm.
Paul Heil will interview the entire Prophets Quartet at 5:55pm on Friday.
Full press release by early next week including sponsors and location.
It will be Friday, in the Exibition Area...booth #'s will be in the formal announcement!
You heard it first right here.
Now all you FOP's come meet the guys and let us take your picture!
Friday is going to be a busy day for me!

I have been watching a lot of Elvis reruns this week. Several concerts. I saw Ed and the rest of the Stamps a couple of times. I haven't seen any of them in person except J D Sumner and Charlie Hodge since Elvis' death. I sit hear and watch and listen and really feel sad.

Larry Strickland and wife Naomi are in Memphis this week, too. Larry was good friends with Elvis.
And on a more current note LAAA!
Rick Strickland of JD and the Stamps is at NQC, too. Lots of former and current Stamps.

frog...we should be in bed...got church soon! It will be great too...I have a concert at 6pm with my touring gospel choir (ARC Choir)...whoa..they are a hoot to sing with...been praying for you and the sad trip. Hope all were held close by the Master.
It ls not looking good for Oct 2 for us. Kathy reminded me that Oct 2
is our eldest son's 33rd birthday...but still looking for an excuse to come
to PF...we would love to be there in the FALL.
When is the next gathering?

I have a small bone to pick. Books are my passion. I buy books like most women buy shoes. Add to that the fact that I have had a crush on Joe Moscheo since the '60s when he played piano for the Prophets. Yes, Paul, I go back that far. So when I saw the ad here for his book "The Gospel Side of Elvis" I had to have it. I ordered it, but it is backordered until Oct. 29. What am I suppost to do until then?????
Okay. I'm okay now. Thanks for letting me vent.

That is a promise I look forward to keeping. And I consider several people here to be friends and there will ba a lot of them at NQC. I think arrangements have been made for them to have name tags to identify them. Check out the are you going to NQC thread. Gotta run get ready for church now. Its a good drive to Cullman Alabama. yes but the "2 weeks" thing...it's impossible math, if you believe that the 7 days (Genesis creation account) are literal 24 hour days.

I saw an Elvis special on PBS the other nite, it was a reunion of the backup singers on stage singing with Elvis on the screen singing.
They had the Stamps, Imperials, Sweet Inspirations, and Jordanairs.
With the Stamps , they had the Two Ed's, and Bill Baize, Larry Stickland, and one other guy i did not recognize? I don't think it was Donnie Sumner, didn't look like him.
