its funny, one of my best friends is from tupelo and is a die hard rebs fan...the last 4 years, he's done nothing but make fun of arkansas and especially houston nutt...and now he's ecstatic (sp?) about houston nutt being there new coach...in houston nutt's 10 years at arkansas he went 7-3 against the rebels, and in the last 4 years, his offense outscored mississippi 145-31...i would want him as my coach too!!! heck, i still wish he was our coach!!!!!

reports today indicate that auburn and coach tuberville are extending his contract through the 2014 season......espn is reporting that the top name on the Hogs list is oakland raiders coach lane kiffin

well forget everything i said lol...rivals.com is reporting that multiple sources are saying that tuberville will most likely be our new coach...however auburn states they have not been contacted by arkansas about the coaching job

I realize that my last post sounds too harsh, but I remember what he did to the Ole Miss players.
If you want Tuberville, I hope that you get him.
Edited to say that I removed my previous post as it was not the type of thing I should have said.
I have a pet peeve about coaches who reassure players and recruits that they will be in their current job for the long haul, while at that very minute are negotiating a contract with a new school. The players/recruits can't transfer without penalty after the coach gives them the shaft.
I suspect Tuberville is leveraging Auburn and Arkansas against each other to get the best deal.

well i know i would leave ole miss for auburn any day lol...so after alot of internet searching, i googled the word "hogwired" ........and did not like what i saw at all...www.hogwired.com is the official site of razorback athletics, yet another coaching name popped up when i googled the word, and after checking the site, there's nothing about him being our next coach...i won't ruin the shock for you by posting the name haha...hopefully it's all a bogus misunderstanding!!!!
