Not only did you Bama fans win the game (on the scoreboard at least) but you can't even let a man practice the Bambi/Thumper rule in a little peace and quiet. Been busy (a Pastor is fairly busy on Sunday...took Monday off from everything)...also, wanted a little time to collect my thoughts. Momma taught me to think first:THEN talk. Usually regret not doing that. In this case...I still do believe that the Razorbacks are the better team, and that the season will bear that out....and that the old sports axiom applies here: "On any given day..." But I am a good sport (if nothing else)...so... Congratulations to all you Tide Rollers. You started well and managed to do just enough to finish things off. Bama played with heart and head to the end. A hard fought victory for sure. You should be proud of your boys and coaches. Will have more to say at my blog. Will let you know when I post. For now, let me summarize: Both Teams did enough good things to win and enough bad things to lose. HOME TEAM won...'nuff said.

You are so right singLOUD. Hogs were lucky to win last year. Tiffin missed kicks that would have won the game more than once. Kind'a odd that he would win this one with his leg. I was at that game a year ago. That loss started a downhill slide for the Tide. Hopefully the Hogs will bounce back and handle KY, though they are very good, and are coming off of their biggest win in 20 years. Again, congratulations on the victory. What did you think of #5 McFadden? I don't think he damaged his Heisman hopes at all. PS....hope you made it back to Red Stick with no problem. Kathy and I had a very nice trip back to LR. NQC was a blast!

That's very gracious of you Sam. Mc-Daddy is the real thing! The Bama press evidently did not get the facts sorted out. Had Mc had only leg cramps, he would have been on the field at the end. He wanted to return, but had a mild concussion. Coach Nutt refused to allow him back in the game. Give the Tide credit. Their game plan was to HIT Mc hard all day. They did that...kept him from running the long one...and eventually knocked him out of the game. But, He is a warrior. Matt Jones was the greatest Razorback football player I had ever seen. You remember Matt. He led the Hogs in 2004 to a 34-31 double OT victory over Bama, when we came back from being down at Tuscaloosa, 10-31, in the second half. Well...McFadden is better than Jones. #5 is the best football player in the NCAA...maybe in the world. Without question, the best I have ever seen. Heard them say that on ESPN last night. The Heisman can be influenced by many things. They were saying on National TV yesterday, that Mc is the best regardless of the Heisman outcome. I agree. Thanks for your comment. Congratulations on a hard-fought outcome.

I did not know about the concussion. I have not read any of the press reports about the game. I only heard one of the anouncers say something about cramps and hamstring during the game. It is a game and I hate to see anyone injured like that. I hope he is doing well now.

DeeAnn, YOU hit back pretty hard! You gotta give me a little relief. I am a very sensitive person, being an artist and all...but you are right. I was, and I still am confident about these HOGS. Both bama and AR have tough games this week...but at least we are both at home. qtman...YES! My phone number is there for all to use. It's the number I use to be reached by Pastor's, my church members and yes Gospel music friends and fans. My cell phone is my secretary, so I may not always answer...but I will call, text-message, or e-mail back veryone who leaves a pertinent message. GO HOGS! GO!

Hey Paul, You might be interested to know that my sister, Amanda, won 3rd place in a talant show last weekend! Although it was a secular event, she sang one of the song she wrote that got her to the finals. She sang "When You Say Nothing At All" for her final song. A man of questionable sexuality won the contest.
