ORIGINAL: zmanfan38 Before I was a mommy I worried about getting his or their attention since he's a big play ground for kids. However, our little girl is a *major* mommy's girl. She loves her daddy, but she doesn't let me get out of her sight.[sm=heart.gif][sm=icon_smile_bow.gif][sm=heart.gif] Your little girl is SO cute! Did you see mine? (click on my screen name) I suppose some of the girls my age might accuse me of ignoring them, because I spend a lot of time with little kids, too.[:)] ha.... I can understand that! But at least it's good to know that you can put up with little kids! And if you can do that, you can be a great help at times! Well, I've been a big brother for a long time now,[:)] and this is kind of an extension of that. quote:
I've become a sitter once or twice for families with boys. And we had a blast. It's almost surprising to see how much you can amaze a kid, if you just sit down and show interest in whatever toy he has, whether it be a console system to a hot wheels car! You become their friend, and they'll never forget it! I know. It's a challenge to come to their level, but they enjoy it so much it's worth it. Take, say, peek-a-boo with a 1-year-old. While we might be inclined to peek two or three times, they (or at least certain ones) like it 20+ times, and are just as surprised each time![:)]
