I've come close. I had a 2-hour trip home from the airport earlier this year during a snowstorm. I left the airport at midnight and didn't get home until 2 AM. (And I'm not an evening person to start with!)

Daniel up at 2:00 am!?!

Yes, that was really tough. Fortunately, I had a friend (actually, SGEnthusiast) who was willing to stay up that late and carry on a conversation during my drive home. I'm not sure I would have stayed awake otherwise.

Cool! I stay awake by singing my lungs out to SG music.

I used to do that too.... but found out I couldn't sing the following day! Not good if you're expected to sing!!!!

Believe it or not, I'm usually the one driving through the night on the way home from full programs and I'm still singing my heart out.

My cousin is getting married near Daniel's neck of the woods this weekend, and I have to be usher.

Well let's just say it was interesting. I felt like the French guy a time or two because of the people I had to escort...I had cufflinks, black pinstripe pants, black vest, black bowtie, and white tux-style shirt to go along with a toned-down version of Jeremy Lile's European black pointed/curled dress shoes...maybe I did look French.

so was it you had to go.... or got to go?

And speaking of hats... if you want one like mine, just let me know, and I'll tell you where to get one!

I have all sorts of hats.... baseball hats, cowboy hats, a clown hat, hillbilly hat, and.. yep... a French hat like the one the smiley wears!

My favorite hat is my Gold City baseball cap. But I enjoy the straw hat that I'm wearing in my avatar! It gives me "character"!
