Ben's signature line reminds me.....
There are photos up at work in the foyer area. This one always kinda creeps me out. It's like his eyes follow you, and he has that wierd look on his face, like he knows something you don't want him to know, you know? Whoever took that portrait could've done a better job.

Hello all......
A little birdie told me that folks here were praying. Thank you.
The boys and I are safe. The fires are mostly contained at the moment... the problem with brush fires and muck fires is that they smolder for days, sometimes weeks and can flare.
Just now, there seems to be a person in custody that is a "person of interest".
I KNOW THAT I KNOW that the fervent prayers of my friends and others are the reason that the fires have been reigned in. I know that the Father hid us in the cleft.
The fires never came closer than five miles away. And the wind was blowing the embers in our direction. The kidlets and I stood in the back yard and looked at the billowing smoke and prayed. The eldest asked the Lord to place a spiritual fire break. And He did.

Yep, I go into work pretty much every day.....weekends too! Though, this Saturday is Ronnie's company picnic, so I won't be going in on Saturday. And next Wednesday I'll be going in late. The company I worked at for 15 yrs (prior to Evelyn being born) is having a reunion at a restaurant....I'm excited to see everyone again and do some catching up.

I used to be able to play 'the entertainer' on my clarinet. I probably still could, with some practice, but I need to get the clarinet 'refurbished' first.
