I'm two spots away--but hundreds of posts away--from being back on page 1. I'm still planning on making it back one of these days.

She visits all the PFY threads and gives hugs to everyone. I think she also posts in Humor and Games a lot. Also, PFY threads have no page-cap; they can continue on for literally thousands of pages. Eventually, though, the thread "implodes" upon itself because it taxes the system in loading such a big thread. This has happened twice that I know of so far. One of my friend's PFY thread went for almost 3 years (and 1,312 pages) and just recently imploded upon itself a couple of months ago. Hers was the 2nd thread to self-destruct like that; the first one happened a little over a year ago (and it, too, was a PFY thread). Oh. PFY = Personally For You and is a sub-folder of Community Lounge. It really just depends on how much a person posts; especially at any given point in time compared to that same time period 365 days prior. Threads are deleted every day . . . any thread that hasn't had any posts added to it in the previous 365 days will be deleted at that day's end (or sometime the following day). So . . . if you posted a lot last year in early May, you need to post a lot this early May as well, etc., etc. But. Eventually everyone looses posts; including Trish (cherish405). However, since she does post a lot over in PFY, her post drop is usually significantly less than other posters. But even with that, she does loose some posts each year; if for no other time than around January . . . because she makes occasional posts in my thread, and I start a new PFY thread each year instead of having one long continuous one. And BTW, PFY threads and blogs are the only threads that don't have a page-cap on them; all other threads are capped at 100 pages. SO! To nutshell it, if ya want to keep a lot of your post count, continue to make a lot of posts . . . and to ensure it even further, make a lot of posts specifically over in PFY. However, when eventually a PFY thread does die of natural causes, be prepared the following year for a MAJOR post drop . . . for example, next January I will take a big hit because my PFY thread from 07 will be deleted during that month, and then I will take an even bigger hit in February because my friend's 3-year PFY thread will be deleted at that time; both threads of which I was quite very chatty in. Clear as mud, y'all?! edited: TOO many goofy typos.
