Yeah, that was just unreal. I'm sad to see Jez go, and I really wish that stunt had backfired. But I was really impressed that Jez and Isabeau were so classy with their answers. Next week will definitely be interesting.

I'm not so sure I like how this season is turning out. Well, it's definitely proving that it's a game & everyone is being strategic as in past seasons. It's just I'm afraid by the time it gets to the end we won't like who makes the finale. It won't be the Biggest Loser, it will be the Biggest Screwup! kd

This week's episode displayed The Game in all it's ugly glory. From season one, I've always thought it was a shame that the inspiration, motivation and amazing life-changes that these people go through has to get screwed up just so we all get the drama, controversy and conflict that Hollywood thinks every show needs.

Neil may or may not become "The Biggest Loser", but to me, to do that intentionally (and then deny it until you screw up and let it slip!) ... that's just a LOSER, period.

BTW, a few seasons ago a guy did that (not 17 pounds worth! ... but threw the weigh-in by drinking water), and he ended up winning the whole thing. I don't respect that in the least bit.

It was Matt in Season 2 and if you have seen him recently (ie Season 3 when he did "inspiring speaches" at his old High School, and the "reunion special-Did they keep the weight off") he has gained some back, not sure how much, not all, but quite a bit it looks like.

I didn't realize Matt did that. I thought he ate a lot, knowing from his years in wrestling that he could work that off. I didn't know he did that to deliberately effect anyone's outcome. I thought he was just having a personal "mood" like he did most of the time. kd

I am pretty sure it was him, either that or it was Eric when they changed things around on Season 3 when he was paired with Kai and she had that "FREE PASS" when he wanted to get rid of it he gained like 3 pounds and brought him and Kai below the yellow line.

BTW when Matt gained the weight he gained 12 and the next week lost 26.

And you see, that is certainly something a woman can't do, so it's pretty unlikely a woman could ever win this thing based on strategy. kd

I'm really glad that no one applauded Neil's 33 lb. weight loss this week, and that it appears that all the contestants have turned a corner since that sham last week. I hope they take David's parting words to heart, and that Neil is serious about regretting what he did. It would be nice to watch the rest of this season without all the drama and conflict!

BTW, when did Bob, Jillian and Kim stop attending the weigh-in's?

That's a shame. I would've loved for them to be there last week when Neil stepped on the scale.

Did you see Kae on the live ending tonight??? She looks amazing!!

I so wish this show was truly about the biggest loser, and not about who plays the game the best. Kae rocks - she's so tiny now.

She looked awesome. Funny enough, I got that issue of Prevention last week. It's great to see she's lost even more since then.

I agree. That's the only thing that irks me about the show. How they feel they have to use the strategy of voting of the one that's the biggest threat. That's why I admired that one guy - can't remember his name- that didn't vote for her so she could motivate him as a challenge.
But it's great to see she's doing great on her own. Can't wait to see how she's gonna look by the finale.

doesn't the one that still loses the most even at home still win something?

Yes, they still can win some serious cash, but not nearly as much as the "winner" gets. I really hated to see Kae go. She's been really inspiring.

So this past week they were all bummed that Bill won another challenge. Oh well, that's what a challenge is... everyone has a chance to win, but only the best wins.
I thought Julie was going to take it, though.

It's down to six - and with only two guys left, do you think the women will vote out the men, or will team loyalty prevail?

I have to add: I'm so totally annoyed by Alison Sweeney's clueless demeanor. Is she on drugs?

No but I never cared for the other host either.

Although I do not watch Days of our Lives or other soaps, so I have no idea about how she acts on that soap opera.

Yea, the cameras cought him getting up in the middle of the night. He told Jillian that he thought it'd be OK to eat Breakfast and go back to bed. BL producers have already made an anouncement that next year there are going to be some big changes to fix this type of situation. Including a change to the team concept. TV Guide reported that it may be something close to Amazing Race in concept.

I totally agree! If they'd cut out all the unnecessary filler, the "cliffhangers" in and out of EVERY SINGLE commercial break, the flashbacks and the interview clips that say nothing, they could easily do this show in an hour.

Challenge, weigh-in, vote-out, update and some in between stuff ... done. 60 minutes.

I found it funny that last night Bob was talking about how special he thought Nicole was, how he really had a bond with her, how moved he was by her ... when to me, she seemed like a secondary character the entire season!

Agree with the Nicole part. I usually tivo the show and watch it in less than an hour but since nothing new was on last night I didn't. Will next week!

Oh and poor Kim, she got on my nerves this season. I think with Bryan maybe she could have done something different with his picky eating then just nag him, like bring in a chef he likes or a different nutrtionist. But at least he kept it up when he went home.

I agree too, and with the writers strike they could have carried it a little bit further.

After what happened last night I can understand why the format will change next season.
