I haven't had a whole lot of time for gaming lately. I finished Sam & Max Season Two: Moai Better Blues, which was good. And I'm happy that the "more adult humor" that was rumored turn out not to be sexual or crude or something, but more complicated jokes with more varied subjects (like Glen Miller's music, LOST and such). I'm starting Beyond Good & Evil. Fantastic graphics so far, though I was disappointed the PC version has such poor gamepad support that I couldn't use mine. Mouse & Keyboard control isn't awful, so far, but it is a console game so I'm hoping it doesn't tank during more complex sequences. Two of my sisters have gotten into Animal Crossing (Gamecube) again. One of them is playing almost every day, and the other plays when she stops home each weekend (she's at college nearby). They're threatening to suck me in again. That game is addictive. I thought I'd permanently burnt myself out on it by playing every single day for nearly a year, but...

I finally collected all the ship parts in LoZ: Phantom Hourglass. Yay..... Kind of a pointless achievement, but sometimes I just like collecting stuff.

I think I went looking for all the Tropical parts, but finally gave up. I liked selling them for money I didn't need.

A lot of people laugh at me, but I am the ultimate Fire Emblem geek. I'm crossing my fingers that Nintendo releases the original 6 Japan-only titles on the Wii virtual console...

I'd peg them as coming out around the same time as Smash Bros. Brawl, or not too long after. *SPOILER* Hidden Character mentioned! * * * * Marth returns in SSBB, and I think he's from the first Fire Emblem game? Anyway, since SSBB has a feature where players can sample Virtual Console games, it seems likely they'll put as many fighter's games as they can in there. Although it's possible the only new VC game to come out right with SSBB is the original SSB, I still think it's likely that Fire Emblem games will get tied into SSBB at some point. If Nintendo knows how to do anything, it's how to milk a character's success for all it's worth.

Sweeeet Marth was my best character. Actually, he and Roy are how I wound up interested in FE in the first place. Although I've never gotten to play a game with either of them yet because of selfish Japan..... I can't wait to use Ike in SSBB. If we're lucky, they'll put Sothe in, too *fans self*.

The only fighting game series I enjoy is Smash Bros. Two games have me excited right now: Professor Layton and the Curious Village and Night of the Raving Dead My life has been so busy lately, I'm not sure when I'll get to play either.

Give us a review, it looks awesome! as for me.. I play fps mostly on the PC, rpgs on PS2 and whatever I think is interesting on the X of boxes.... COD4 consumed my life for about 2 days doing single player mode and then getting into online servers....and then Christmas break was over and I've been neglecting my games. *is ashamed*

Lost Odyssey is awesome so far. Kind of a Final Fantasy feel. Which, of course, is to be expected because it's Sagaguchi that wrote it. Oh Mah Goodness. I am a happy geek. I just found out they are remaking the first Fire Emblem for DS. *jitterbugs*

I'm loving Night of the Raving Dead so far. I've got to admit that I wasn't as excited about this Sam & Max episode as I was for most of last year's. The character design for Jurgen the vampire repulses me (even though he's supposed to be repulsive eurotrash). The gameplay, though, has been fantastic. The humor is great, and the voice acting is spot-on as usual. Even stupid little gags (Sam: "Zombies!" Max: "I know") are made hilarious by near-perfect timing and inflection. Hopefully this won't be too much of a spoiler, but the first German zombie you're finally able to talk to is such a fantastic character. I have no idea where Telltale Games is finding all these great voice actors, even for bit parts, but they're doing as well as Lucas Arts did back in the day.
