I've been wondering... why do you all say hot/hawt instead of using proper language? I find it demeaning, like the person being remarked on is nothing but an object.

If you're involved in a serious relationship (that doesn't mean a relationship lasting 2 1/2 weeks, middle schoolers) and use that term in specific reference to that one and only individual, I don't see it as them being marked as an object.
Besides, I have far better ways of complimenting somoene. I may use it every now and then, but never when I'm expressing it do I think of it in a demeaning or lesser sense.

But what I dislike is when someone sees a stranger, say, at the mall or in a picture, and is like "oooh, he/she is HOT", I think that's objectification.

Also reminds me I haven't posted anything yet. 
OK, so I would want my guy to be: A Christian, able to make me laugh, loving and gentle, but also have some bulk (may I repeat, skinny nerdy guys freak me out) at least as strong physically, mentally, and spiritually, and being hot would be a big plus. Oh yes, and I would want him to have blue eyes.
But it would be nice if he did...
