**poofta** can't do much about the feline illness but to cure to cat happniess was when the birds got into your house and are flying around the living room.

I wish I could see this!

poof....car2ner is at Annie's house watching the happy cat chase all those birds. Cat has her claws out and is jumping after those birds. oops, cat landed on cart2ner's head. oh well, cat knocked off some of the bird poop and feathers off C's hair.

Note: my dh made an outside wire enclosure for my cat and installed a cat door in a window so she can access it. not expensive - just some wood posts and wire. need to put the wire under and on top also.

dh is finally completely retired! now I wish he would do all the projects he said he'd do when he had time.

***poof*** be careful what you wish for. There are tools, sales slips, bits and pieces and scraps all over the place and none of it can be put away because it is all works-in-progress.

I wish it had rained only at night so we could ride our motorcycle to church.

POOF! Lots of rain, but no more falling by 8:00 AM. Streets are flooded. You can ride your motorcycles to church if you put them in a boat and sit on them.

Thanks for the idea, still4gvn. Not sure it would work for us, but I appreciate it.

I wish it was 8:00 AM. I like my 3rd shift job, and it's great to have a job where I can make wishes on CW while waiting for someone to set off their alarms, but I'm already tired and I want to go home.

***poof**** Your daughter's kitty is healthy and wonderful and climbing the curtains and scratching the sofa like a good kitty should.

I wish I didn't have so much to do today.

an evil goblin has turned your whole house into pizza. mozzarella keeps dripping down from the ceiling and the carpet is anchovies. you get a hole in the wall every time a piece of peperoni drops off. Hope that doesn't affect the price when you sell the house.

I wish gas prices would go down.

###Gas prices have gone down but now there is no gas available. Everyone has to walk or ride a donkey.

I wish I could get more energy to do stuff.

poof........they build an electric sub-station in your back yard. You got plenty of energy. Of course, you're still tired and listless. (Hope you really get energetic )

I want to be more organized and plan ahead.

The doctor comes to do the operation at home. He leaves double the expected bill, and now your medical insurance is sending collection agents, who also do house calls.

I wish my chain of command would stop hastling me about the dumbest insignificant details, and would start acting on important things like broken doors that let thieves come in and steal expensive electronics.

The chain of command has been (((poofed))). Now they are taking care of the big issues, fixing the door, making sure the company goes green, their philothropical image in the community... and they leave all the small stuff for you to take care of (Mwuahahahahahahahah)

I wish I could go make coffee without waking my house guests.

POOF! You're able to go silently to the kitchen and silently make coffee. However, the coffee has lost all it's aroma. No no one will wake up and smell the coffee.

I wish I was a whole lot smarter.

Ganheim: sorry, I decided to change my wish at the same time you were posting. (I had wished the Doc made house calls). Welcome to Ruin a Wish.

Annie: poof.........you are a super genius. The CIA and Alkida both are trying to kidnap you to get your help. Some Doc in Holland wants to clone your brain and put it on life support. Your friends now find you boring. But your kids still think they are smarter than you (or they will when they hit teen yrs).

I wish all the windows in the house were washed.

(ppooooff) Ouch! DRAt. I didn't know there was a sliding glass door there. Is this a window? (((bump))) ouch, yes it is closed. Not clean anymore. There is a big forehead mark on it.

I wish my back wasn't sore right now.

Still4gvn: lol! My kids--all three of them--are already in their teenage years (ages 13-18), and boy do they ever think they're smarter than me!

Car2ner: POOF! Your back feels great! So great that you feel like doing all kinds of backbreaking labor. Too bad it couldn't last.

I wish my workplace would get new carpet and exterminate the bugs that are driving us all crazy.

((Thanks for the thread welcome.))

Your workplace has sprayed to exterminate the bugs, but they used the wrong spray and now giant arthropods are rampaging around the city pretending to be godzilla.

I wish I wouldn't keep hitting writer's block right before I finish a story arc.

POOF -- you have a private jet. You take off--and discover that the terrorist that dropped to bomb on still4gvn's beach is on board.

I wish I could have kept sleeping tonight instead of having to get up and come to work.

(Short stories generally contain one overarching plotline and no subplots. An arc is generally found in longer stories, and refers to a short segment of related events that may be a subplot or may be a specific portion of the main plot. For example, in the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers the conflict between Merry and Pippin and Saruman's Uruk-hai was a hobbit-Uruk-hai arc.)

*Poof* You slept through the night and missed work. Now your boss is giving somebody else the job.

There's never enough time in the day. I wish it was 25 hours long.

POOF! All days are now 25 hours long. The earth has slowed down it's rotation to that point. Gravity is weakened by the slowing down of the earth and people, animals, and things start floating off into space, as well as all of the atmosphere.

I wish I were as self-disciplined as I should be.
