Update

Yesterday, my wife drove the two hours to Spokane, spent about 30 minutes with her sister in the hospital, then again drove the two-hour trip back to her mother's house.

Her sister is undergoing physical therapy at the hospital, is out immediate danger, but has a long, long road of recovery to travel. She has taken medical leave for this whole semester from her college teaching job. Although she continues to need God's help every day, she is showing signs of improvement. My wife told me that her sister's focus is not on her overall prognosis but her focus is on her next step then the next...then the next...then the next.

Thank You all for your faithful prayers.

God is good.

Thanks, Jim, for letting us know how things are going with your wife and her sister. I will say a prayer for you wife to find the strength she needs as she does all the driving and traveling necessary in this situation, and help in all things that she is dealing with. I remember that you're wife's father passed away recently - is her mother still living? I'm sure it has been so difficult to take care of things after her father's death, and also caring for her sister who is so ill.

It is good to hear that you sister-in-law is showing some improvement and seems to have a good outlook. May our Lord continue to bless her with healing and a strong spirit!

Thank You Lord for continued traveling mercy as Jim's wife visits with her sister.
Thank You Lord that her sister harkens to "one step at a time" which is all You ask us to take, and You will pick us up and carry us when we can not even take one step for whatever the reason may be.

Yes, her mother is living. Her mother (with Parkinson's Disease) lives a two hour drive from my wife's sister. My wife has been helping her mother during this past week to sort through possesions ... decide what to throw away ... decide what to keep. One of my wife's brothers is their mother's caregiver 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are making arrangements for a woman health-care worker and a nurse to visit her regularly for personal care.

father help jim's inlaws out ion a special way taking care of his mother inlaw and his siterinlaw dealing with cancer heal her and remove this cancer from within her give her minimum side affects from this chemo treatments she is recieving help her in all ways in jesus name amen

Oh I am so glad she is home. I pray that her sister recovers quicker than expected! And that all goes well with her mom, and that her new healthcare works out beautifully!

Here is an update on my wife's sister.

We are thankful to have received this first news of improvement that we've heard in a long time regarding her condition. We received word that she is actually walking a little bit....a big improvement. May our Lord be praised.

My wife's sister came close to death several times during the last two months and rebounded each time, but weaker each time. Now the medical staff says that her organs are starting to shut down. Hospice arrangements are being discussed.

Father,
Thank you for your unlimited compassion. In Jesus Christ's name we pray for your mercy. Help my wife's sister and her family. Thank you for goodness...for all that you are doing and will do. Amen.

This breaks my heart. I know she must be quite young.

I almost can't bear to think of it.

Lord,
I don't kow why cancer is everywhere, in so many from children to prime of life, to elderly. I don't know why many elderly are spry and vibrant (praise You). I don't know what all the difference is.

I just pray, HELP.

Bless Jim's wife and her sis.

Bless all cancer victims.

Bless each and every one on earth.

Oh Lord, Help.

Thank you for your ongoing prayers. She and her family, as you might imagine, need God more than ever before.

My wife's sister, who has cancer, is in her late fifties. She has three grown daughters and one teenage son.

Father,
We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that you shower this family with so much of your goodness that they all will love you greatly for ever. Amen.
