As long as its people continue to believe that and God casts His favor, it will be.

For the record, I am reading "The Purpose-Driven Life" by Rick Warren.

I read that a few years ago. I absolutely loved it. My poor highlighter got all used up though.

I'm reading "Unveiled" by Francine Rivers. Anyone read it? I really like it so far.

I finished my book this morning, and then I panicked because I realized I don't have any books I haven't already read before, so I grabbed the nearest one to me-Little Women. I can't count the amount of times I've tried reading this book and failed.

Try reading Pride and Prejudice. I love that book, but I gave myself a headache trying to understand it. I love movies.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo

That's the next book I have to read!

Mom has decided that I have to read boring stuff like that and Jane Eyre and Little Women. Even Gone with the Wind is more tolerable.

Ooooh Lacey got me "gone with the wind" for Christmas and I am excited but scared. Haha.
I read sense and sensibility and it was so good, but really hard to understand.

I read Little Women before I was twelve. And a whole bunch of Louisa Mae Alcott's other books... Wow, I can't believe that some people find Jane Austen boring. I think she's amazing!!!Try "The Watsons", it's great! And Jane Eyre is THE best book evah, don't diss it!

Well, I'm dissing, no offense. I like adventure books like the LOTR. Same as I like thrilling movies. The less it reminds me of a soap opera, the better. "Realistic" mum calls it, but I think that's the point of reading--- escaping reality.

Little Women was good until Jo became girly and married an old guy.

I loved Eowyn in the LOTR. She loves Aragorn, but doesn't sit on her bum pouting because he loves Arwyn. She goes out and wins a war.

gag me, it's boring.

GAK!!!!!!! everyone needs to read the Deltora Quest series. It's for middle schoolers, but it has... the... best... ending... EVER. And I have read a LOT of books to compare it to. I was so shocked that I missed a shift of work just pondering the brilliance of it. Utterly unpredictable. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.
