I do know. I just think I'll like how it looks hanging up without them. I'll probably try both ways.[:D]

Congrats! How'd it go?

It ended up closing at a little over $1200 (more if you count what the hostess got at 50 and 60 percent off!)

The hostess is a cancer survivor and is going to raffle off the $265 in free product for baskets for Relay for Life!

(Only have to sell $1,100 before mid-April to meet the incentive goal. Too bad my work schedule interferes with that!)

well, I got my apple peeler/corer/slicer yesterday....hubby was so fascinated with it....he said he has never seen anything like it. My Grandma had one, and I was always fascinated with it growing up....lol. Anyway...it doesn't fit onto the side of the counter, but hubby is going to build me something to put it onto until we replace the counter top (which will hopefully be sometime this year anyway). I haven't let the kids do an apple yet, but they are eagerly waiting in anticipation...lol.

My stone cookie sheets are looking nice and dark now!!!! I cooked meatloaf in the one that was a bit lighter yesterday, and now it is much MUCH darker!! They are looking good!!!

hey Lisa...Paul loves the cleaning them with salt idea....he says is really works great and might start doing that to the iron skillets when they need a good scrubbing!!!

I never invested in the stand, either. I did, however, invest in a cutting board and just mount the thing to that. This way it is portable and I can sit on the couch and peel my apples if I want.

I got new blades for mine ... haven't gotten around to putting them on yet, but I will. I made the mistake of putting mine in the dishwasher.
