Foster thinks she knows who Big Chief is, too, but thinks it best to not reveal her thoughts. She's pretty sure we might've talked to him briefly.

I did not post it on this thread at the time, but I met Ben Harris when his group was in concert nearby a few weeks ago. I also talked with the Southern Sound baritone singer, Trevor, who at least lurks on this forum at times.

So far I have only met one person from the forums and that was Donna (GVFan) at the L5 Memorial Day Weekend Celebration in May. If things work out, I should get to meet a bunch more at NQC 2009, since I plan to take my vacation at that time and finally make it to NQC.
Of course with my luck (or lack thereof) they will move NQC out of Louisville in 2009!
I just realized that I have met more than just one, but most of the others are artists who would probably not be happy if I mentioned their names and the fact that they are lurkers on here. Of the artists who do post on here, I've met Gerald Wolfe and Dan Keeton, though it has been quite a while since I have seen a post on here from Dan.

I know prt3348 and I've known dixiebass1 since he was a wee child, but I've never met up with anyone from the folders. I'm hoping to meet DeeAnn this weekend at the Mark Trammell Trio homecoming. If anyone else is going to be there, I'd love to meet them, too!

Most of the artists either lurk or have close friends or families that do. I seldom go to a concert that something being talked about on here isn't mentioned.

As she mentioned earlier, I got to meet Tina (L5FanLady) at the Christian Music Conference in Kentucky. In addition, I got to hear her sing solo and also with her group. Everyone enjoyed both. I even got to hear what she means by gospel doo wop. Les, her group leader, is a great song writer and they did a few doo wop songs which were a big hit. She has a great voice and it is quite evident that she has a real heart for singing and ministry. I'm glad I got to meet her since we both joined the forums around the same time. She just posts a lot more than I do.
So far, Tina is the only person I have met from the forums. One down and hundreds to go
