Just wondering who your favorite Female Vocalist is...mine is Kim Hopper.[:D][;)][:)]

BBfan -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/9/2007 6:45:40 PM)

I love them all but I had to vote for Sherri Easter!

tenorsister -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/9/2007 7:41:09 PM)

From this list Karen Peck but my all time favorite is Vestal Goodman!

I love Vestal, too.[:)] Even though the poll doesn't directly say it, I think this is a list of current favorites.

From the list, I voted for Libbi Perry Stuffle. I didn't even have to check to see who else was on the list--I just had to make sure she was, and that was that.[:)]

Qtman -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/9/2007 9:27:17 PM)

My favorite was not on the list. From the list I chose Lauren Talley.

heather84 -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/9/2007 9:39:56 PM)

Lauren [:)]

CountryPreacher -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/10/2007 9:55:15 AM)

From the list, Peg McKamey. However, my all time favorite is Lily Weatherford.

lisaboone -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/10/2007 3:40:20 PM)

Of Course I had to vote for Sherry Easter. She has been my favorite for about 15 years now. They weren't very popular then, but I have always been a fan. I base a lot of my music on their older stuff. They were a big inspiration to me years ago and they are still going strong today.

Janen49 -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/10/2007 5:12:47 PM)

I can't say I have an absolute favorite, but one of the ones I like a lot is Allison Durham Speer. There are a lot of good ones that I enjoy!

Kerrlaw -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/10/2007 5:56:34 PM)

No question in my mind - Kim Hopper.

Jamey -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/10/2007 7:26:47 PM)

Kim Hopper not only has the best range and pitch but as they say "Can Sell the Song" better than any one. She also is a great person too.

hopperfan -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/10/2007 7:58:19 PM)

Jamey, I agree with you on that!!

Vestal is truly a favorite of mine too...I can't believe that she didn't cross my mind to put on there.

hoppersfan -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/10/2007 8:04:28 PM)

Kim Hopper, without a doubt![:)]

GoldCityQtGirl -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/10/2007 8:04:46 PM)

Lauren...[sm=icon_smile_sing.gif]=[sm=heart.gif]

GrammyK -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/10/2007 10:08:54 PM)

From the list, Lauren, but my true favorites are Debra Talley and Janet Paschal.

pianomanbrandon -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/11/2007 5:27:04 AM)

I voted for Libbi... but someone that I am really starting to take more notice of lately is Susan Whisnant. I think she's one of the finest singers to come along lately.

servants -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/11/2007 6:44:58 AM)

Libby Perry

TQ_Fan_4_Life -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/11/2007 10:18:13 AM)

from this list was close between Kim Hopper, Lauren Talley and the one I voted for, Taranda Greene. My all time fave is eitther Dottie rambo, Vestal Goodman, or Amy Lambert. Although Kelly Nelon was my fave forever

lordpraiser -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/11/2007 10:24:48 AM)

Tammy Jones Robinette should be on the list too!

AdamEdwards -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/11/2007 11:04:43 AM)

TaRanda Greene

youngartist -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/11/2007 11:11:14 AM)

Karen Peck. It was tossup between her and Libbi Stuffle.

hayesfamilyfan -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/11/2007 1:05:39 PM)

I voted for Karen Peck. Even thought my favorite female singer of all times was not on the list..... which is Janet Hayes Haas. She can sing any song and make it sound the best ever...... she the best soprano singer also and can hit a high note better than anyone I know in southern gospel music. Janet Hayes Haas is the best female singer of all times..... in my opinion.

SGEnthusiast -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/11/2007 5:24:11 PM)

My favorite (not on the list) is Chris Freeman. It's very hard to choose who would be next. I like Connie and Karen & Peg & ... it's really a difficult decision!

Kerrlaw -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/11/2007 5:53:25 PM)

I know that space is limited on a poll.

It's a shame that there isn't room for Susan Whisnant, Janet Paschal, Lynda Randle, Allison Speer, and many others.

Maybe we could have two or three polls and have a playoff.

Where is Tina when we need her?

Billboy -> RE: Favorite Female Vocalist (12/11/2007 8:26:45 PM)

I voted for Karen. In reality, I could hardly make a choice between my 3 favorites, namely Karen Peck, Debra Talley, and Charlotte Ritchie.
