I'll be reserving the supertoon on Tuesday. Between it and my boat we'll have room for 40 on the water. We're short of that still.

Hi John, I am still looking for the best fare plus been waiting for Lisa to send the itinerary as well, as I was wondering how that would affect things. Lisa said that she is quite wide open in regards to flight schedules, but I still want to do what is the most practical for everybody if I can.

I'm planning on driving, but out of curiosity what's the airport again?
(I figure the round trip will cost me about $120 in gas. I'd need to be able to get a round-trip ticket for under $100 for flying to make sense. I don't think that's gonna happen.)

UF and Humble directed me to some websites for purchasing tickets. I'm horrible at finding good deals, though, and would appreciate advice. The process bores me, and I get frustrated too easily. Would much rather do something else, so I usually end up spending more money just to finish the task.

We are Getting Together in south central Indiana to play and fellowship.
People will be arriving at my home in Bedford on 6/6. Visiting, games and/or karaoke that evening
I'll be buying Pizza.
We'll be on Lake Monroe from 9:00 6/7 until about 5:00PM. Renting a large pontoon with slide (and restroom) and I'll have my pontoon there also for tubing cruising etc. I'll front the boat rental and be reimbursed (per person) with the amount depending on how many people come.
Dinner at home Sat night, more general visit/game/karoake time. Whatever people want to do.
Sunday morning breakfast followed by church for those who can stay (and want to). People leaving sometime Sunday.
We did it last year (rented a shelter on shore) and had a blast.

Please pray that I can go... work is absolutely overwhelming right now, and if I quit, it'll be really hard ($, new job sched, etc), but staying- with the way things are going- may not allow me to do it either ( I am supposed to work 40 hrs, but right now average about 60)
If I wasn't already Kuku, you'ld wonder what my job was driving me...
Jeannie, as someone who is shyer than she seems here- it is A LOT of fun... you'ld be amazed at how some of these folks are IRL... I almost didn't go last year (move, $, wouldn't know anyone), but this year the thought of not going is heartbreaking...

My mom's aunt lives in Indianapolis, so I might try to swing by and see her. Lisa, would it be helpful to have two rental cars? I'm not sure where she lives exactly, but I might need a vehicle if I arrive a day early or stay an extra day.

That would be fine - if you want to do it. I still *may* end up doing like what I did last year and come in early (now that it looks like I'll have the new job and don't have to worry about what time I take off), just depends on a lot of things right now........

Okay folks - after some initial calculations - with our current numbers - the weekend should be about $50 per person, excluding your travel to and from John's house (or airport). It could be significantly less if more people attend.
Hopefully that'll help some fence sitters make a decision.
