It will be near the 80 degree mark today. Just a couple of days ago, I had a thick layer of ice on my windshield.

We had rain yesterday. Looks like scattered clouds today. Not too bright with the sun, which is good for the remnants of this headache.

Bright sunny skies! Decent temps! Miserable child at my house because he is not allowed to go outside to play and can't have any friends over either. He got that horrible bronchial infection (nearly pneumonia) that's going around and has been confined to the house since Friday. BUT we are also supposed to get large amounts of rain over the next couple of days too. Not good for the already saturated ground and swollen rivers, but hopefully this is a sign that spring is on it's way. I don't think so but a girl can hope can't she?

Blessings,

Garsy

No sign of rain or snow yet here. Sounds like maybe tonight.

Mike, I think I'd prefer snow to rain, at least this time of year still. Since our ice storm in December especially I've become even less of a fan of rain when the temperature is hovering around the 32F mark. The forecast for tonight is rain changing to wet snow. It sounds messy, but I don't think it will be cold enough to cause issues with slick roads or power lines.

Rain when it is cold out is dreary to me. We don't get oodles of snow here so it has an element of fun to it and is pretty.

It wasn't too bad here either; it was 38F when I went out this afternoon and it didn't feel bad at all.

I agree Mike! It started raining, it sounds like it will turn to snow. Slickness may be on the way, we shall see.

We are currently under a severe thunderstorm watch right now. And it's raining again, so we are also under a flood watch. Some neighborhoods who were sandbagging like crazy a couple weeks ago are stockpiling even more sandbags as this round is expected to be worse. We had a yard full of snow this morning but the temps got up to 51 degrees today so things all melted!!!!! Of course that isn't helping flood conditions! I don't think there is too much top soil left in my garden.

Blessings,

Garsy

Rained some today. Chance of snow Thursday-Sunday. Looks like the good weather is gone again.

I didn't know about it, weather.com says it is cloudy out here so likely we wouldn't have been able to see it.

It is just plain cold outside. 14F, feels like 0F.

Spring, I'm ready....

We did too! For the most of the evening we had to view it from outside our house, BUT at about 10PM it finally broke over the tree line and we could see it from our ds's bedroom window! Quite honestly I found the whole event interesting but not interesting enough where I would have willing stood outside in freezing winds for it except I had an 8 1/2 year old that found it ALL very exciting and I had much fun watching him get all excited about it!

Blessings,

Garsy

We're getting a little rain this morning. There was a strong line that pushed through the area, but when it got here, it all fell apart. It drizzled the whole time instead of giving us a hard rain. I'm not complaining, we need the rain, but I just loooove to curl up on the couch by an open window while it's raining.

We got a little rain and a little snow. I'm not sure what it's doing outside right now. The high is 52F tomorrow, so it won't last.

Hey PC, why did you change your name?

Because of my post here.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Saturday night here we got quite a bit of snow. I think there were six or seven inches in about six hours.

Then after the snow it started raining, and that helped in getting rid of a lot of snow! Yay!

Hopefully this week will be in the 50's with no more precipitation.
