Oh no sir I won't, will even have my long coat on. Have a house to look at in the high mountains, and will check in on my job site where I'm building our personal residence.

I thought the east was pretty flat. Are you sure that high mountain is not just an ant hill?

Well, I'm in the mountains of NC now and they're definately not as high or as rugged as the mountains of Colorado where I used to live.

Nope, not flat here. I live and work in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North GA. GA is a very interesting state geologically. We have Appalachian Mountains, foot hills, rolling piedmont district, then coastal plains. There are several inactive Earthquake faults, and GA is split by the continental divide. Just think... I have several different properties, within 10 miles of each other, on the opposite sides of the divide. The streams and rivers on one side flows down to end up in the Atlantic Ocean, and on the side it ends up in the Gulf of Mexico. So every time I flush my toilet, it could end up at either beach depending on which house I am at at the time.

Let's all be praying for our buddy Ray. He had a mild heart attack this morning and is in the hospital right now.

Ol Ray seems to be getting better. They're going to let him come home soon but want to get some blood sugar levels under control while he's still in the hospital. So I reckon he'll be back in the Garage talking lawn mowers, smells, and other manly stuff real soon.

Ah good!
Guess I can't toss any more Bamboo onto the fire? Wouldn't want to scare him too bad while in recovery...

Nah, give him a couple of days to recover, then he's fair game to scare.

Hello everyone. CrossHooked here coming to you live from Wisconsin. I found Crosswalk thanks to our local Christian Radio station, The Fish. Well, It is now K-Love as they sold to a new company. I found the guys only forum here and "The Garage" was the perfect place to start. My son and I call the garage "The Zone". It was shortened from The Man Zone. I just wanted to drop in and say hello and introduce myself. I am a paramedic supervisor for my company and I only work a couple of days a week. My wife and I have a business we are trying to get off the ground and running. We do unique personalized gifts on tiles, coffee mugs and and other things. We also do tile murals for kitchens, bathrooms or any wall you wish to adorn with your own pictures. Now that all sounded more like a sales pitch that anything else.

Well, that fact of the matter is, I'm a man who has turned his garage into woodshop/Men's Zone. It is the place for talking about anything that concerns us men. My son and I have had many talks about the christian life and dealing with the world we live in. My goal in life now is to glorify God in every area of my life.

In case you haven't noticed, I'm a gabber. I talk a lot. So, I will close the giant hole below my nose and Let you all get back to more important things like turning some wrenches or grinding something.

YBIC,
CrossHooked

Welcome CrossHooked! Glad to see you here!

And more good news! Our buddy Ray is back home from the hospital. And they sent him home alive! Hospitals usually don't do that!

Welcome CrossHooked!

Glad to hear that your garage is a good place for you and your son. You know I have two daughters and never had a son. While I've always been disappointed with not having a son, now I have a grand-son and he seems quite taken with me. He's four months old, and I relish the man-time that we can spend together in the future.

(And we can always use a paramedic around here)
