Pam, thanks for asking! Every year, Fritz starts taking nominations (from posters) for two "Best of" recognitions. One is for "Best Quote of the Year". The other is for "Best Thread of the Year". Then after the nominations are gathered, the posters then vote on the nominees for a winner. Back in 2005, my ramblin thread won "Best Thread of the Year". (Since I start a new chat thread each year, that particular thread has since been deleted). The reason why my thread was given such an incredible honor was actually because of y'all. As you may remember, it was in June, 2005 when CS took his life. The support and love that y'all gave me then . . . and continue to shower upon me . . . has blessed me beyond anything I could have ever imagined or hoped for. And people throughout all of the forums were watching and pay attention to it all. Y'all were not only such a huge blessing to me . . . but also to so many other people throughout all these threads. SO! While I get the honor of carrying the recgonition . . . it is really y'all who made it possible; it was y'all's postings in this thread that is at the heart of my handle carrying "Best of '05". Y'all Incidentally, 2005 was the first year that the "Best of" contests were implemented (actually, the first contest was in 2006, for the 2005 threads and quotes). Also, Bzirk, was "Best of '05" for the best quote. (And she also won that honor again last year).

Very true. I didn't get to church this morning. It was so cold, and I've got a bad cold too. This morning my asthma was playing up.

If there is something trying to stop me from going to church I know its the devil. I just say get behind me because today is God's day and you won't stand in my way.

Its just one of those things that when I am on the fence as to whether to go or not to go makes me decide the latter.

I figure if I'm going to have a headache at church or a headache at home, I'm much better off going to church. I always felt that way about work too.

Congrats Sharon-Marie on your decision about being a Tour Director. Very cool! And I think it was another thread, but you asked if I designed my shirt. No, I found it at Cafepress.com. It can say for daughter, mother, sister etc. Even the person's name if you wanted. I was glad to have it for Friday night's Relay For Life.

However, that stuff that everyone pours over so many otherwise good foods is corn syrup. Tomato-flavored corn syrup. Kath and James, I hope y'all were able to sleep headache-free last night. Mike, I hope you don't get a headache today. Donna! It's very good to see you in here. Thanks for stopping by. I am continuing to keep y'all in my prayers. quote:
