((((Sharon-Marie))))

I've thought about you a lot today too. Getting excited for you and your new adventure and of course bummed that you won't be down the road anymore. We're looking forward to seeing you soon.

Her surgery will be at 7:00 that morning if nothing changes. They are supposed to call me next week with all the exact time to be there and pre-op instructions.

She doesn't seem scared. I told her that when she had them put in we just played all day and I'm sure she'll be her normal, playful self after this one too.

We'll pass those hugs around tomorrow...thanks!

How are you this weekend? Is the house even more empty than when we were over there?

Oh, let me tell ya, that box of stuff you gave her is just the best thing ever! She's wild about everything! Thanks again!

7am??!!! That's early!

I'm glad the procedure is minor and especially that she's not scared about it.
She's a great little trooper!

I'm also glad she's enjoying her toys.

LOL - No the house is any more empty; but it does have a lot more boxes hanging around.
I've got a little bit more to pack (and if I put my mind to it, I can probably get it all done this Monday). I won't be calling USPS till Friday. I'm shipping my stuff to some friends in Jackson; and somewhere down the road, I'll be reunited with it.

I'm looking forward to seeing y'all again as well.

It kind of looks like one of those scopes you looked through as a child and it changed colors like of a glass pane when you twisted it?

I have one of those!
Kinda.

It's a grown-up version, I think.
The tube is octagonal and is made out of mahogany.

It works by pointing the glass end at an object and revolving the tube. The "object" is refracted as the tube is being turned.

heehee

It actually started out as one of my self-portrait photos.

What you see now is that photo with a stained-glass effect.

Hey!

I've been watching sad stuff on tv today and been crying a lot. It's good to cry sometimes...but I'm all puffy eyed and booogery now.

Hiya Beckey!

Sharon-Marie, that's pretty cool! You're so good with cameras and computers!

Speaking of computers, my mouse died (the peripheral, not a rodent ) and I got a new one. It's cordless and boy is it sensitive.

That information was complimentary...didn't cost you any extra.

Okay, on that note I'm going to send my sleepy self to bed.

Goodnight all!

They are good. Ben lost another tooth yesterday, so they are both sporting toothless spots in their mouths. LOL!

They are in their room playing "sorry" right now.

That would be a kalaidascope--there are some awesome ones that are very intricate--and expensive. I like them all even the simple homemade ones.

Good morning, DivaB.
I wasn't sure if it was a kaleidoscope or not. The one I have doesn't have any bits of color glass in it. Does that matter?

Good Morning y'all!

So . . .

. . . I'll be moving in less than 2 weeks.

As y'all know (or at least I think y'all know), the way I'm getting from here to there is via a plane.

And apparently I'm developing a habit of this type of moving . . . that's how I got from Jackson to here, last year.

. . . Incidentally, I don't know anyone in the area to where I'm moving.
Not yet, anyway.

So . . .

. . . My plan was to fly into the airport (via a plane; I don't think my arms would last flapping across the country).

And, after deboarding and collecting my luggage, I had planned to then take a taxi to the motel where I will be staying in the interim while looking for a place to live.

No biggie really.

BUT!!!

That probably won't be the case now.

Some friends of mine from Jackson have decided to meet me at such illustrious airport. They'll be picking me up (well, not literally) and will take me to the motel to drop off my stuff; and then we'll go out to dinner. They'll spend the night in a motel and will return to Jackson the next day. He told me this in an email about a week ago, and she told me this during a phone conversation a few days ago.

I am blessed beyond anything I could convey.
Thank You, Lord Jesus!

This all really hinges on what the weather is doing in Jackson . . . whether they are snowed in or not.
Winter has already pretty much started for them.

Town Square
(by the way, I just may have to contact Jackson Hole Trading Company and ask them to straighten the webcam. LOL)

Elk Refuge

Airport

They've gone to a new cam system; so if you want to see a bigger photo of any of the links, just click in the photo after it has loaded.

ROFLOL! What a great cross-post!

Christi, as I was making my links, I was actually wondering if you had been looking at the webcams lately.

Priceless cross-post!!!

Of course I've been looking at the webcams. You just don't know how entranced I am with that area since you shared the webcam links with us. I just feel absolutely drawn to the area. We will have to make that a vacation destination one of these years.
