My online TV guide says the next episode is next week, regular time. So no Survivor at all this week.

yeah we thought the same thing Donna...stupid basketball!!!! We ended up watching Deal Or No Deal....do you KNOW how boring that show is? Yet my kids love it...lol...go figure!!!!

I feel like I've had a shot of some drug. I've had my dose of Survivor after a too-long wait. Ahhh! 
I cringed every time Erik jumped that bridge, knowing that at some point he'd hurt himself. Argh! Man, he worked his tail off on that challenge!
Don't read any further if you haven't seen the episode...
Towards the beginning, they indicated that it was no question that Erik was going home next. Kevin said, "Uh oh, someone else is going home instead of Erik!" They try so hard to make it look like someone's going then throwing in the twist - it's getting almost predictable.
So, what do y'all think? Do you think Ami was really with the Favorites the whole time and only trying to make the Fans feel better? Personally, I don't - I think she was really working it with the Fans only to have it backfire, and she backpedaled and spun it as hard as she could to save her own skin. "I'm so disappointed that Amanda and Ozzy didn't trust me!" Uhhh, yeah. I will say this, though - I think her tears were genuine, but it was probably due to emotion overload, sleep deprivation, etc. more than to anything else.
Umm, what else to say?
I don't think that if Airai had sent James to exile instead of... whatshername... Alexis... that it would've made any difference in the challenge. James didn't knock anyone off the balance path, so if Alexis hadn't, no big deal.
So - the merge is next week! Erik really saved his skin this week! I wonder if he'll stick with Ozzy or not. Hmmm.

I almost believed Amy with her tears and all but when she was writing Erik's name, she has that look in her eyes that's just showing manipulative. 'not too sad that she's gone.
Preview for next week with Ozzie and Alexis, for some reason when they were sent to Exile island...my first thought...oh oh ....Amanda will be jealous and it sure seems like it's going on that direction.

I am amazed that no one has anything to say about last week's episode.
That water challenge is so scary to me. I am scared of being confined with water, and just watching that scared me.
I started laughing when I realized whats-her-name was going to play the fake idol. They could have kept it to auction off instead of throwing in the fire.
I have forgotten the rest of my comments by now.

I mean in general...not only the water competition. That one competition they had that most of them got hurt...I believe that they've done that also but the way it was set up was far more harder. Also the one where Joel had to drag that poor guy competition. And when Eliza, I think...or was it Parvati...got hit on the eye. It's just the competion seems to be really much harder. Even Ozzie holding on that water, his face was all puffed up when he came out of that water.

I had a feeling that the unthinkable was going to happen. Jeff seems to trying to give a hint tonight before they casted their votes that a surprise can happen but then Jason gotta watch his back also. He's a strong contender. I do like Eric though. He seems to be a sweet kid and he's from around the area.

Yeah, I think Eric is sweet, too. Too much beer and betel nuts, though. 
One side of me is upset. The rest of me - MOST of me, is amazed and surprised and EXCITED. That was a major coup that they pulled! To get the votes, then keep so quiet about it that there wasn't a hint of it to arouse suspicion.
So, does James take back his comment to Jason about "the dumbest Survivor contestant ever"??
I'll miss seeing the person, but wow, what a great twist!
I would've been upset if the folks had reneged on their promise to Jason. I mean, crossing one's fingers is SO elementary school, people.

I'm also half-upset and half-thrilled that they pulled this off. If you wanna win this thing, that's the way to get it done.
On another note, what is it about James that everyone (viewers) likes so much? I find him to be really arrogant and abrasive. He doesn't talk much (thankfully), but when he does, he's usually cutting on someone or putting them in their place.

I really hope not. I only like a very few of the girls. I like Alexa. 'used to like Cirie but something this season that I'm seeing on her that was not there last time but then I don't mind her winning this time. The rest of the gals...I could careless- plus I want Eric to win.

well, my pick to win was Ozzy....(actually my first pick was Yao Man, but when he got booted I wanted Ozzy to win then)...so I don't care who wins now....no one else is a person I would personally want to see beat everyone else...so I just think that would be an interesting twist to the game.
you are right about Cirie though....I didn't mind her before, but something about this season is just bring out something weird with her.

I liked him at the beginning of last season, when he was shy and quiet. I don't like him now.

James called it right. Stupid didn't play the idol.
I like Jason, I really do. But he IS cocky. And man, he is clueless about the pulse of the game! Did he really think his standing in the game would change like that?
I gotta hand it to the girls - they pulled it off. I don't like them, but they pulled it off.
I'm glad Erik won immunity, though - he's my favorite this time around, and I hope he can somehow stick it out!
