Cloverfield ~ I liked it but nobody else did.

Untraceable ~ This movie was intense and realistically gory ~ But I'm going to watch it again!!! (What does that say about me?)

What Lies Beneath ~ I'm an admitted Harrison Ford addict. Love Him!!

Shipping today (Netflix)

P.S. I Love You
American Gangster

Blockbuster by mail

August Rush
A Raisan in the Sun

Here but we haven't watched yet

The Constant Gardener
P.S. I Love You

btw Bzirk - I LOVED Miss Potter - of course I've been a Beatrix Potter fan for YEARS so it was really neat to see a portrayl of her life as fictionally adapted as it was.

Blessings,

Garsy

The Constant Gardner is very good, but be prepared for complicated scenes. It's a very sad reality. k

I look forward to watching it. The other two movies in my queue I've already seen and they're two my favorites.

Lars and the Real Girl.

It was just OK. The promise wore thin pretty quickly.

wareaglekd -> RE: What was the last movie that you rented? (6/30/2008 9:17:28 AM)

The Bucket List - throughly enjoyable. I'd see it again!

Definitely, Maybe - not at all what I thought it was supposed to be. At least it ended up w/ a good ending.

Beware - advertisements about movies do not tell it the way it is. kd

Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?

EXCELLENT!!

No extreme foul language with the exception of name calling, minimal violence, no blood and gore. There is talk about sex or NOT having sex without graphic displays of sexuality. Strong male characters who show strenght and vunerability. Loved the women in the movie, I really Identify with the character of Shirley.

I've decided my sister has lost her mind. I watched Norbit w/ her on the 4th. I can't believe she found humor in that. Lord help her! k

reach -> RE: What was the last movie that you rented? (7/7/2008 6:54:05 PM)

KD - I just watched the bucket list last night. We must have the same rotation! :)

I liked it. It was a good movie. Great actors. Funny and sad.

UGH! that norbit movie doesnt even look REMOTELY intresting

wareaglekd -> RE: What was the last movie that you rented? (7/8/2008 5:16:47 PM)

Well, Bucket List, I guess, has been out 2-3 weeks now, so it's getting a little easier to find on the shelves.

Yeah, Norbitt don't look good & it ain't good. I heard good news today. Eddie Murphy is retiring at 50! k

reach -> RE: What was the last movie that you rented? (7/14/2008 11:23:52 AM)

I have netflix, I don't look for things on the shelves. LOL!

I just watched Bella. I tought it was OK, but it was hard to follow things that was going on. You did not know if it was a flash forward or back, or what. It was just hard to follow, so the ending was lost on me. Maybe the book is better.

wareaglekd -> RE: What was the last movie that you rented? (7/14/2008 12:12:09 PM)

Fool's Gold - Pretty good. No complaints.

National Treasure 2 - I'm only 1/2 way through w/ this one & about to think it's better than the first one. It was hard to turn off, but gee I had to go to church! k

reach -> RE: What was the last movie that you rented? (7/15/2008 11:10:49 AM)

I liked Fools Gold.

National Treasure - I love both of these movies! I can't wait to see the second one again.

Idiocracy

Interestingly high concept-satirical, dystopian comedy.[;)]

Tinkerbell_ -> RE: What was the last movie that you rented? (7/16/2008 12:02:38 PM)

Glory Road. I didn't want to buy it but I had no problem renting it. Pretty good. [:)]

Hottie and the Nottie - Yikes. Not that bad if you took out Paris Hilton. She is such a terrible actress.

Mad Money - I liked this one. Pretty witty.

wareaglekd -> RE: What was the last movie that you rented? (7/18/2008 12:50:05 PM)

People don't watch Paris Hilton because they think she is good. kd

groom52 -> RE: What was the last movie that you rented? (7/19/2008 6:16:33 PM)

Miss Potter was surprisingly good. My wife was the one who put in on the list of DVDs we get from Netflix. I'm sure I never would have because I had never been interested in Beatrice Potter books as a kid.

But this movie was remarkably delightful. We watched the movie one evening, then the movie with the comentary, and then the extras. Now we're going to watch the movie again before sending the DVD back.

freakofnature -> RE: What was the last movie that you rented? (7/21/2008 9:12:34 AM)

Catch and Release. Definately a "chik flik" but one I enjoyed with my wife. Put's some perspective on how well you actually know someone and I actually would have re-written the last lines of the movie but I won't ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
