When I was very small my mom started to go to church. She then started reading the bible. That kicked off a Spiritual battle that leaves cold chills on my family members to this day. It was mid August in Illinois, at that time of year it is very hot and humid. To make it worse we were in a heat wave. The nighttime temps were in the 80's. We were living in a very old house that did not have central air, just window units downstairs. My step brother started complaining about very disturbing dreams. He said that he would dream he was standing next to his window upstairs and a man all in black with frightening eyes was telling him to jump. This was going on for some time but my mom really felt it was just a dream. My uncle came down to stay with us for the summer during this year. My mom was very young when she had me and he was younger then her so I think he was only 18 when this happened. His name is Randy. My mom was reading her bible and my uncle Randy was watching TV when my mom started to get what felt like a panic attack. She felt that something horrible was going to happen. It got so bad that she told Randy that they needed to go upstairs together and check on us kids. They went straight to my step brothers room and when they went in there it was so cold they could see their breath and my uncle was covered in goose bumps. My step brother was standing in the open window. My uncle grabbed him and he took him downstairs while my mom got me out of my crib. By the time my mom got downstairs my step brother was awake. She asked him if he was having that dream again and he said yes. He was extremely frightened. My Uncle went to the kitchen to get him a drink when he came back out and said what. My mom told him that she did not call. He went back to the kitchen only to come right back in and say what again. My mom was annoyed and said I did not call you. Once again he went back to the kitchen. He came back with a mad look on his face and told my mom it was not funny. She said Randy I did not call you. At that moment they both realized that something was in the house. My mom took her bible and started yelling at whatever was in her house to get out. She said that doors started slamming and the temperature in the house dropped. There was some kind of a noise that was not a voice, she said she could not describe it but it was terrifying. She kept saying the same thing over and over~ get out of my house. She said it was almost midnight and they had no phone and my step father was working nights. They ended up staying awake all night sitting on the couch. My uncle held my step brother and my mom held me. First thing in the morning my mom went to the pastors house to tell him what happened. They had the deacons come and pray in every room of our house. There never again was another problem but what a story.
I have heard that story from my mom my entire life. It was 3 years ago that my uncle told me his version when I went to go see him. What is so sad is that even though he told the same story my mom did he does not believe in God. I cannot understand how someone could witness that knowing that it is happening because his sister is on the verge of becoming a christian and not believe in God.

I do like that their first priority is to prove they aren't there. And some of their conclusions (Pipes, magnetic fields, house locations, etc.) are more sane than those British people on another channel that go around singing to the ghosts, having seances etc....
Okay! Have fun! I am praying for the people of TAPS. They need the truth...and I worry that something will go home with them.....
Do you ever wonder how much of it is staged? Like they'd look down a hallway, and yell. YIKES! A woman is walking down the hall. But unfortunately, they didn't get her on tape. What??? It kinda cracks me up when folks are jumping at shadows. Makes me what to get behind them and yell: BOO!! I know I"m bad.

I think a lot of it is fake (and scripted drama) but sometimes they come across stuff they can't explain.
