Father, I ask you to watch over Johnathan, Brandon, Darelle, and all our military guys that are on foreign soil. Protect them from all evil, keep them in the center of your perfect will. Lord, I pray for their families that miss them terribly. It is love that causes their concern and worry. Please help them to trust their loved ones to you Lord so that the enemy cannot torment their thoughts.

Help them to know that you are with their loved one and you are watching over every area of their life, big and small. Comfort them and give them peace of mind. I'm not going to pretend that it's easy for them, because it's not. Help them thru this difficult time. Help them to rest at night, and to occupy the time until their soldier returns home. In the name of Jesus.

Provide good and relevant support groups for the guys in field and for their families at home. Support as friends and family and people that can relate to what they are going thru. Send people into their lives for them to build relationship with, people that will be a strength and encouragement to them, people that know you Lord. Give them the right words to speak at the right times and let your Spirit minister to the hearts and minds of our military and their families. It's not some textbook incident to you Lord. You are right there in the midst of their lives, and you know how real it is for them. Provide pillars for them to lean on, pillars in whatever form you choose, for them to lean on and draw strength from.

Voices that speak your Word with heart-felt Faith, and not cheesey ritual.
Hands that work beside each of them, sometimes in silence, sometimes in deep conversation.
Feet that walk with them thru the hard stuff, down the streets of Iraq, or to the principal's office.
Eyes that see the reality, that cry with them, that sparkle when they laugh.
Hearts that love God and love them, good or bad, success or failure, from Iraq to back home in the US.

Bless our soldiers Lord.
Draw the hearts of each one to know you Lord, to walk closer to you than they ever have.

Father, I pray for Johnathan and Brandon and Darelle and all of our soldiers. Be with them today and bless them in every way. If they find themselves bored, fill those moments with ways to be productive and entertained. If they are stressed and gearing up for a challenging task, then steady their thoughts and their hands and fill them with Faith so that they know that you will make them excellent. Help them to trust you to guide them. Protection, Health, Courage, Strength, Victory, Peace and Confidence in You Lord.

Be with their families. Comfort their hearts. Calm all anxiety and free them from worry. Address their concerns and give them permission to cry and to cry out to you, fill them with the strength and courage that they need to get thru this difficult time. Occupy their thoughts and their time with good things, make them productive as well and be their joy Lord.

Thank you for our military, our family and our friends. Thank you that they are the protectors of our freedom, and we ask that you would protect them as they serve to protect. Camp your angels all around them, confuse the enemy in every attempt big or small to harm or hinder our troops. Expose every plan and plot and weakness of the enemy. And let your name be praised. Reveal your favor and your answer to the many prayers that are covering our military and our nation. We love you Lord and we thank you for your love and your mercy and your faithfulness. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, remember Johnathan and his family today. Bring encouragement in every area of their lives. It is your kindness that draws us to your love Lord. Send voices to speak that kindness into their lives, friends and acquaintances and random encounters of people that love you Lord and that love people.

Thank you for this uncle that carries such a heart for his unsaved loved ones. Let him see the fruit of his fervent prayers and unyielding faith for their salvation. Show yourself to them Lord, let them see your hand at work, whether by a renewed assurance of Faith, or by hearing their loved ones speak about you as their Lord and Savior. Encourage them in some way to persevere in their petitions and their hope that their loved ones will encounter Christ and fall completely in love with him. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

If any don't know you as Lord and Savior, give them opportunity to seek relationship with you. Send Godly voices across their path, on the radio, in notes they receive, among the Christians that are locals there. Let them see you all around them, and help them to acknowledge and trust in Jesus Christ.

Bless our guys that do know you Lord. Help them to be strong. Remind them of all that you have spoken. Remind them why they fell in love with you. Help them to lean on you when they feel stretched thin or stressed. Cover them and keep them from all doubt and all discouragement. Let every attempt of the enemy only make them stronger in their commitment to you and to the people in their life.

Thank you Father. Let them know that we love them and are praying for them. Comfort them as they miss their families and are missed by their families. Open all lines of communication so that they can keep in touch with them regularly. Guard them concerning their physical needs. Keep all of their desires faithful and holy between them and their spouses only. Expose every temptation that may try to entice either of them. In any moment of weakness, intervene Lord. Keep them from embarassment, unless it is necessary to keep them from regret. In the name of Jesus. Amen

Lord please be with billiefan nephew Jonathan, please keep him safe and out of harms way. Show him that you are right there with him and you will guide him and please be in his heart,
even though he is in Iraq allow him to be focused on you as well, so that he may hurry home
to his loving family.

I am praying for you and Johnathan, I am so proud of him!!
