Sometimes though I like the quiteness ....thats sometimes...lol
When I was in high school my old car played nothing but radio or tapes...and I had mix tape I made and would listen too when nothing good was on the radio, while everyone else had their cds I had my mixed tape hehe

O.k. but do you ever roll down the windows on a nice day and crank the driving music? Sometimes that just makes my day! (easy to do in my truck... loud for passengers but not so loud the other cars get over whelmed.)

I was torn between answering radio and 'other devices' because I don't listen to regular radio...I haven't listened to a local radio station (unless it was on at work when there were tornados around) in years...I have XM satellite radio...and I LOVE it.

I need to dump a bunch of my favourite music onto blank CDs for my trip this weekend ... I don't want to have to keep switching CDs as I'm driving along the highway. (Going to a woman's church retreat this weekend -- 3 days without hubby or kids ... WOW!)

I listen mostly to CDs. I find I get bored with the Christian music stations cause they play the same stuff over and over. At least I have lots of CDs to choose from.

mine is neat and orderly and hardly has anything on it (just the recycle bin and one folder for programs to go into)...oh and on the side I have easy to access "quick buttons" to get to things easier...that stays there even when I have pages pulled up (and yes, I am that blind that I have to have things that big on it). HERE is a pic.

Neat and orderly. Everything is over to one side, and documents are filed in their sensible folders. For some reason I can't figure out how to get my print screen function to work on this keyboard.

neat and orderly, I have like programs next to each other and a nice wide screen. My wallpaper used to come from Crosscards.com but now I have a cartoon from World of Warcraft that is funny to me because I can sooooo relate to it. When I get tired of it, I will get something new from Crosscards.

I turned off the side bar in vista...I keep my important programs either on the desktop or in the quicklaunch bar.

My brother turned on the quick launch bar on the side for me back when he was looking at some stuff on it right after Jack was born, and I got addicted to having it there....so I leave it there...lol.

Mine is neat and orderly and has hardly any icons on it at all. If I need a file, they are all organized and can be easily found... there's no need for 1001 things to litter my desktop.
I have a free picture program from Webshots.com that is my desktop picture. It is constantly rotating between the selections I have downloaded that appeal to my taste and the seasons of the year. This is what's on it at the moment.
