Although my current vehicle is a silver 2001 Toyota Corolla, if I had my CHOICE, it would be a medium-blue Mercedes convertible with cream interior! Sweeet!!!

My present car is a smallish navy blue.

My dream car would be a small black motorcycle, but my husband doesn't want me to have one. A Honda Rebel -- a cruiser. I sat on one in a store and fell completely in love.

Gold Wings are fabulous. Ours is Illusion Red... that means it hints of orange when the sun shines on it. We have matching helmets, too. Sweet ride.

The first (and only) times I rode on a Goldwing was back in '82 . . . my father-in-law (from my first marriage) had one, and he would took me on a couple of scenic rides through the country. I absolutely loved it!

Our current vehicle is a silver Honda Civic. I love the car but it seems like everyone here drives a silver Honda Civic.

Our next car will be my "mom-mobile." We will most likely get a smaller SUV, like a Hyundai Santa Fe. I would like it in blue, red or black. We'll have to see.

My dream car (which I will never get) is a white Cadillac Escalade!

I considered that car but would have had to put something on the antenna to figure out which one was mine! LOL they are everywhere. I would have got the red. Although now if you are looking to buy one they are selling out quick. Even the used ones are almost as much as a new one.

Once I was leaving work and was giving my boss a ride home. We got to the parking lot and he asked which one was my car. I replied "I didn't know." I had to use the remote keyless entry to see which car had it's lights flashing. Once I did that I said "over there" and headed toward it. My boss thought I was crazy (or at least added it to the list).

My husband and I both loooooove the Santa Fe's and they're a great price. I don't want to get a minivan unless I absolutely have to, but this one will be large enough for our family.

Better than going up to the wrong car and trying to open it which happened a few times at the mall with my old one.

Ha! When we first married, we drove my VW camper up the coast on part of our honeymoon. He was driving that day, and when we exited a restaurant, I saw a VW camper that looked just like mine. I just started toward the passenger side of it, and he tried to use the key to open it. It didn't take long for me to be bent over in laughter as he struggled to open someone else's camper.

They are rather nice...and...you can get 3 carseats/boosters in the backseat rather easily. I drove it to the zoo with a friend of mine & her 5 year old and newborn rode in the back with my son I must say I was pleasantly surprised since it is a fairly small SUV.

And yes, the wrong car thing has happened to us a few times since purchasing our Santa Fe. In our area, red is the predominant color so they all matches ours!

I voted red and small.

I drive a 2008 copper red hardtop Mazda Miata (MX-5.) We had to replace my car in September, and I was going to get another Nissan Altima (it would be my third Altima over the past 14 years) ... but since we aren't planning on having children, I thought I would look into a more fun car in the same price range. In the end, I went for the fun car. It meets my needs and can always be sold and replaced by a sedan (an Altima, probably ) if a child came along.

What an appropriate car for a woman named Zippy

Does the Santa Fe have 3rd row seating?

Ryanne, you can get Santa Fe's with 3rd Row seating.

The three car seats in the back is what has sold us.

Well, we can already fit 3 car seats in our Xterra... although you can also fit 3 car seats in a Honda Civic if you buy the right seats.

Eh, we have to buy Micah a smaller car for commuting before I need anything larger. Probably another 5-6 years before I need something else.

We have that civic Ryanne! We bought it specifically for that reason!

I love my car, it is a 04 Civic and I would never want a different make of car! It is so good on gas, it drives so nice! I know that one day I will be driving a van, there is pretty much no avoiding it but until then I will keep loving my car!

The Miata is cool!

That is what I have heard about the Civics! I went to the dealership to look at them and the salesguy kept trying to get me to buy an accord. Well the Civic has better gas mileage. He wasn't listening to me so he lost a sale. Duh.

The Honda Fits are kinda weird looking but they get great gas mileage.

We are considering those for DH, along with the Toyota Prius(which will also do 3 car seats across).

Hmm. So the Prius is still doing better for gas mileage.

Zippy, I am not telling DH that your gas mileage is comparable otherwise I will really have an argument on my hands

Not with Gabby!! The airbag turns off, but it's a two-seater.

I bought my car in March before the gas prices went up. There were plenty of Priuses then but now there is a shortage in many areas. But I couldn't afford a 24,000 car. Nice thing about them is they are quiet.

The cost of the car + buying an additional battery in 8-10 years wouldn't have made up for the savings in gas.

I would get the Honda Fit or the car I have which is the matrix. The prius has a tiny trunk whereas a hatchback has fold flat rear seating just in case you need to put a bike in there or whatever. But get whatever car you like since you'll be driving it all the time.
